City of Heroes tinted blue?

Just got a new laptop for a bit of mobile gaming, Toshiba Satellite Pro L670-14P. Running CoH however, the game decides to tint itself a lovely shade of blue. I've tried using PowerStrip and the ATI CP to change the colour settings down, but to no affect. Any suggestions?

That sounds like an issue with the video card.

Have you run any other games on the machine? Have you tried updating the graphics drivers from ATI/AMD's website (rather than Toshiba's)?

If your drivers are up to date and other games don't experience the same issue, then I have no idea what could be going on...

Main Villain: Evil Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1193 Badges
Mission Architect arcs: Doctor Brainstorm's An Experiment Gone Awry, Arc ID 2093

My junk laptop did the same thing. It's graphics card was some cheap intel thing. Changing drivers did seem to fix it for a while, but it came back again. It currently works fine, but very slow and laggy if I don't turn all the options all the way down. lol

Your Laptop appears to have the Radeon HD 5650, so i don't know why it would have that kind of trouble, unless you just need to do a driver swap as well.

Is this on the laptop's screen or on an external monitor?

If its the latter the first thing to check is that the monitor lead is properly seated (both at the laptop and also at the monitor). If its loose some of the pins may not be making proper contact - if that is the ones carrying the red signal you will get a cyan cast.
The same could be an issue with the built in screen but thats not as easy to fix.

Toshiba Satellite® is a brand of Laptops.

That wouldn't preclude the possibility that they are using an external monitor instead of the built in one. If they are it is good advise Gaia provided. If they are not it is moot.

Not using an external monitor and other games are completely fine, latest (only) drivers for this video card from ATI's site. No problems with other games, only CoH is going blue on me out of the 20 or so games I've got on here.
