BU pet proc
It works fine. Whatever thread you were looking at is ancient, or the poster is misinformed.
First off, all self-buff procs work the same way: The buff the caster. That means that when a build up proc (whether it's this one, Gaussian's, or Decimation) is put in a pet, it triggers on the summoner when the pet is summoned, and then on the pet when the appropriate conditions arise (Any attack for the pet IO, a to-hit buff for Gaussian's, or a ranged attack for Decimation).
Second, the Soulbound Allegiance proc was fixed so long ago that we were still on the old boards. It will proc on Fire Imps when they attack.
Next time, try asking nicely, instead of flinging insults, and making yourself look like a jerk.
@Roderick
No it actually works fine, which you can even test by simply turning on the pet window and looking at the buffs. If you're gonna rage about an issue, try at least being right. You could have tested this in like 5 minutes tops.
First.... LOL!
Second it does indeed work, it also works in PA as a side note.

I only found out myself that is now worked on lower level pets last night, and don't remember reading anything about it being fixed in the patch notes.
British by act of union, English by grace of God, Northern by pure good fortune!
I am sure I read that they stopped this working for pets < level 50 at the same time as they did the recharge change on pets (I assumed they did it on purpose), which wasn't all that long ago (Or am I just mis-remembering dates?).

I well remember all the commentary about it at the time; it did a fine job of dropping the value of the Soulbound set on the market for the few weeks it took for the bug to get fixed. That little issue made me a couple hundred million or so on marketing Soulbound IO's... buy 'em up dirt cheap and sell once the bug was fixed.

I've never tried this BU proc because most of the pets seem to have better damage proc than Build Up. However, I am considering buying one for my Genins since they can't take any fancy damage proc (except for one knockback).
So basically, when they attack, it gives them about 16% chance to proce build up and BU lasts like 5s?
What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

I have the purple pet proc in my fire imps atm. I found another thread saying that it doesnt actually work in imps, cause they spawn at 49.
However...I just summoned my imps, and got the BU icon...for ME! Yes, thats right..for me. Not for my imps..the power its actually slotted in. Seriously, considering the amount of fire control builds out there, and they still cant make it work properly? Pathetic |

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.
