Double Trouble
What level and alignment?
I have bugged an issue with the level 41+ villain mission where if your double dies at any point the mission ends in a victory for you. Even if you don't accomplish all the interim goals. It's kind of weird.

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

Sorry, I suppose I should have specified that I was maintaining my level 50 Hero status.
Larry: Owen, what the hell did you do to my wife?
Owen: Well I don't want to say on the phone - all I can tell you is that I killed her last night.
You're probably going to want to check out the 2 arcs added for heroes in Issue 17 (probably need to flashback both of these at level 50): Field Agent Keith Nance's Twisted Reflection arc (level 20-29) and Special Agent Jenni Adair's Looking Through The Glass arc (also level 20-29).
Not sure if it relates exactly to the double found in the morality mission (haven't run that one myself) but you will find the contents very interesting.

Still going
Silent blade is sent to kill you because of your evil deeds. Turns out it wasn't you it was an imposter, the duplicate. You fight silent blade and she says that she will wait and see how the conversation with your duplicate will go. Once you fight down your duplicate and talk, Silent Blade sees that you were telling the truth and kills your double. She says she will leave you be and she has completed her mission having killed "insert your name here".
Some of this appears in chat, some in clues, some in the dialog windows. But it is all there.

There is also at least one Tip mission where you run into a (apparently) Nemesis Automaton version of yourself down in the 30's range.
There's also a Tip mission in the 30's range where you rescue a bunch of hostages and one of them is pretty blatantly an Automaton (based on his dialog), but you still rescue him/it and then your clues state something along the lines of "wow that guy is messed up in the head"
6000+ levels gained and 8 level 50's
Hello, my name is Soulwind and I have Alt-Itis.
The Hero Morality mission is widely regarded as being... shall we say 'weak' compared to the other Tip missions.
'Bat 'refuse' insane' have been other ways to describe the inscrutability of that mission.

Thanks! Actually, for whatever reason, I haven't gotten around to running any of the arcs from i17, but I definitely will soon.

Yeah I did get all of that, but it never explained why I had a double in the first place. I mean, I regularly hang out at all the hip clam-bakes in Paragon; you'd think I'd have seen this guy at a party or something. But he just shows up in my Morality mission and starts whaling on me while Silent Blade blurts out that she's here to stab one of us for killing a cop. And that was it.
It would have made a good Alignment mission for sure, but for a Morality mission there wasn't much going on compared to the other Morality missions I played. Just seemed to be an excessive amount of bread on that sandwich, and not much salami. The mission suggests that the double actually thinks he's the real me, and that I'M the impostor, which made me think that maybe he was from Praetoria or something. I was confused, but then the mission ended, and I started to wonder if I'd imagined the whole thing.

Ive been having a blast with the alignment missions and especially the morality missions (I wish all the missions in CoH were like these). Anyway, I just did the morality mission for my main character and was totally surprised to find ME throwing clawed punches at myself! This blew me away definitely one of the coolest surprises Ive experienced in game.
But what the hell was going on? The mission ended right after I talked to myself, and it never explained why I had a double or anything. Plus, the other morality missions Id ran up to that point were extended dance mixes with all sorts of bells and whistles; lots going on and very exciting. But this one was over just as it was getting interesting. Other than the wow factor of having to battle myself, there wasnt much to it.
So I guess I have two questions.
1. Who was that handsome devil and why was he trying to kill me?
And
2. Did I miss something? I ran through the rest of the office, but didnt see jack (except for more Malta dudes). I thought I read everything but Ive got a lousy internet connection and maybe a bit of info got eaten by lag.
(Oh, and if you havent ran this particular morality mission yet, I guess I should alert you that this post may have included a spoiler. SPOILER ALERT, I think they call it. Anyway, you probably should have averted your eyes.)
