Not a good idea, because you basically end up with a 20% chance for 10 endurance every 4 minutes. There are better things to use your slots on. :-)
Now if it attempted to it every 10s like Stamina, it would be good. But it is a buff, not a toggle or a passive, so there is 1 check at application and then thats it.
I think stamina is a better place for it, but no harm in putting an extra one in AM (they aren't unique), especially if you are going for the set bonuses of perf. shifter.
But I wouldn't slot it until I had AM's recharge fully slotted.

Unless you're going for a set bonus, you're better off slotting the proc on a player who does not have regular access to the amount of endurance bonus AM provides.
By slotting it in AM you give each person hit by AM a 20% chance to recover 10 endurance every time it recharges.
If you have procs to burn, then by all means. Otherwise use 'em on ATs that would get more out of 'em.
No sweat, I just wondered what the proc would do in AM. So I'll just put in a end mod in the slot when I get it, or just move the slot elsewhere.

I don't have a reference, but I think the proc will not work on allies. I seem to recall this being tried out. It will only have a chance to go off on YOU when you activate AM. You would do better using a set of Efficiency Adaptor in AM.
I might be wrong, though.
