I pretty sure there are also /slash commands to adjust cam distance but I don't know it off the top of my head. For all I know there's one to allow you to pan around as well.
I *KNOW* there are some regulars here who can give you the /adjust cam distance command in a heartbeat they just haven't seen your post yet.
If you're still struggling consider posting in the Tech Issues & Bugs forum - bet you get an answer in no time at all.
My Alienware has the zoom in and out default set to Home and End. Try all the keys in that general vicinity of the keyboard. They're all usually bound to camera functions.
