Time Cards

Does anyone know where a person can get time cards for CoH?

I used to buy them at EB Games but lately they havn't had them in anything close to a regular fashion.

Only just managed yesterday to find one that had a 30 day card accidently shipped in.

Trying to find them at other stores but so far I can't.

I only ask since I had my Mastercard info and several of my email accounts stolen recently (I know, who in their right mind would want to steal my identity) and I don't want to use the online payment option.

As well if anyone gets an email from my badge_of_the_saints account just ignore it since thats the one email I still havn't managed to get back. Still trying to contact Hotmail and get it switched back to me from whoever stole it.

On an different topic I've been trying to log into the game for about two hours now but everytime I load up CoH it stalls before the login screen and the program goes to "Not Responding"

I've tried verifying the files and making sure that it was allowed through my antivirus but it still won't boot up properly.

Any idea on how to fix it? Would a clean install of CoH work?

I saw some at best buy last week, it was a 2 month card with 14 day jet pack bonus for 30ish. But that was in Oklahoma so..

Gamestop has them, sometimes. That sucks about your cards

The last time I bought one was through Amazon... but then you'd need to give THEM your credit card info... so I don't know that's helpful.

I also know NCSoft accepts paypal as a payment option.

Bungee, not sure where you're at but take a look at the MicroCenter website.

60-day cards for $20. If you want to give them a CC#, you can mass order them online and have them shipped. Otherwise, look for a store local to you and see if they have any in stock.

I've gotten mine at Best Buy as well. A friend in the Chicago area told me he actually pick some up at a gas station. <.<

I've heard of 7-11's carrying them too.

Best Buy always seems to be the most consistent here. Heck most of the GameStop like places have little or no PC games. I dont think it would hurt to ask (esp if its a store you frequent) your EB Games to order a couple for you.

Maybe a 'mom and pop' type gaming store that could have some still lurking around.

Also be sure to look for NCSoft Time cards (that work for all games) and not let your brain just process CoH time card. I think when I saw them at Best Buy they were next to Aion and not under the "N" section.

Sounds like your Anti-Virus is blocking the port. Did you install new AV software? If so make sure you set up CoH as safe.

Or it could be like my sons computer and the DNS information is old.

Open the run window (Windows key - R) and type ipconfig /flushdns and hit ok.

This will wipe the local DNS cache on your computer and force it to go out and get new IP addresses from the server.

Did all the above and finally managed to get into the game tonight.

But now when I try to log in again I can get to the Loading Screen but after that my video card throws up in its mouth like a new drinker on prom night and shows me colors you normally need narcotics to witness.

Not sure what happened since earlier in the night and now. Didn't change any of the settings or anything but I will try and get it sorted out tomorrow.

Then post the results of these two programs:

• CoH Helper - it will show us basic computer settings and your CoH configuration.
• HijackThis - it will show us what's running on your computer concurrently with CoH. Click on "Do a system Scan and save a logfile." It will automatically open up Notepad and put the info there. Make sure Wordwrap is off in Notepad (Format > Wordwrap unchecked) before you cut and paste here.

I know it was mentioned but let me add that PayPal takes it right from my bank account and skips cards and CC all together. I find it brilliant but up you, now I just see an email whenever I pay NCSoft. I think PayPal should be everywhere lol
