Real life things that remind you of something in CoX

First of all, I'd like to say hello from Afghanistan to all the folks in Dark Kingdom and coalitioned VGs. I got a nice package from you guys and lots of best wishes.

Does anyone ever have something happen in real life that reminds you of the game? It's my 4th month here, but even here that happened today.

Some units name their operations and objectives after gemstones, some units name them after animals, some after greek gods etc.. this particular unit names its operations and objectives after insects. So today I was listening to the radio chatter and I hear something that immediately made me think of COV:

"Iron Gray X-Ray, this is Brutus 1-6. Objective Recluse is cleared, OVER."

I guess I should have got on the radio and told that Brute "gratz but come up with a better name."

Well, on arriving to Neutropolis, and watching the sky change from daylight to sparkling night, and seeing everything light up with the delightful neon glows, though it's not specifically "the same", the skyline and effects in Neutropolis remind me greatly of my home San Diego.

I was watching a show on those huge cargo ships on The Discovery Channel the other day, and my first thought was how many Jump Enhancements I would need to put in Hurdle and Sprint in order to clear the deck by leaping up from the water.
