KM/WP Brute vs. Scrapper
As far as playstyle goes there really is not much of a difference. At least not for me. With a WP scrapper or brute Ill be running in first and beating the crap out of everything I see as fast as I can.
As far as builds go, both would want to slot for recharge (in addition to the normal def +hp and regen) since the power siphon power adds damage for up to 20 seconds instead of just 10 and you want that up as often as possible.
I honestly cannot think of how playstyle would be different for either unless you are one that normally plays scrappers and brutes different.
Edit to add. I did think of something. On a brute I normally start out with my low damage attacks and finish off with high damage attacks until fury is built up. On a scrapper I would start with the high damage attack and use the low damage to take care of the remaining health. Once fury is built up then I play them both pretty much the same.
The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.
With Kinetic Melee/Willpower, the Scrapper will do more damage; the Brute will be more survivable. That's the difference.

Since I only played Red side.... I have no clue about scrappers ...I just made two and one is 20 now.
The only difference in how i play as a scrapper is I am not trying to take the alphas...ill let the brute do that =)... I zero in on the most annoying mobs asap for team.. Suits, Seers, Bigdogs, and other pain in the rear mobs for teams.
The tier 9 of Kinetic Melee has a 20% chance to instantly recharge Siphon Power on a Scrapper.
On a Brute, you sort of always have a Siphon Power effect with Fury...you can just make it peak more with SP active.
Don't really know of any particular differences other than that and what others have brought up.

What would be the playstyle difference between a KM/WP Brute and a KM/WP Scrapper?
Just off the top of my head I recognize that the biggest difference is the Fury bar vs crits, but I have been out of the game for a while and could use some wisdom.
Thanks.
