Whoa, I just tried virtue (ick) because it is yellow also, and I got the same error. Thats not good.
Me too; I think the server might be down because I can log into other servers--just not Freedom.

You know I think I know what it is. I got my roommate to try out CoH for going rogue. He is a big wow player so I figured i'd show him a good game.
I figured he wouldn't be able to quit cold turkey so to help him along I made an orc to roll with him. *sigh* I shouldn't have done that.

Awesome, totally typical. New issue..yay..what fun. Laggy as hell due to server load. Then..in my evening, when its less full...after FOUR hours playing on freedom, i log off to swap. 10 mins later...DB server error. So, I go to virtue, to get some rogue points on a toon. I get 2 missions down...mapserver. Go to log back in..uh o, dbserver error.
Would be lovely if they actually you know..posted, saying the servers were going down.
Oh and no..cant even log in, get that ****** generic 'cant concet' msg.

Erm, it's Thursday, it's 12:05 GMT (13:05 BST). That means scheduled weekly maintenance doesn't it?
There's a sticky from the Ocho in Announcements about it I think.
Scheduled maintenance is not supposed to start until 9:00 EST today. That is the note which is stated on the server status page. However both Freedom and Virtue are unavailable right now as well on server status

They obviously didn't take into account the pre-level 10 debt-free dynamic. Ultimately, this means no new toons for you until they can accommodate you more fully.
...oh, and there's a patch this morning too, so update your clients, everyone.

I'm tripping balls here.
I just created a new praetorian I skipped the tutorial, and then killed a guy to test out my new dual blades, and then I lost connect to mapserver.
I'm thinking "hey this is great, I can not exit witout waitin 30 seconds" when I try and log in I get lag, then that very error that is in the thread title.
Anyone else hit with this ... I'm a sad J-Man
