Is it just me...

or are Demon Summoning Masterminds a HELL of a lot of FUN! (Pun intended!) I haven't had this much fun with a MM since my first, a Bots/FF. Maybe it's the Pain Domination secondary that is helping me have a blast, but in about a week I've gone from zero to 28, and it's been so much fun!

Just thought I'd share!

Personally (as a teammate of countless Demon MMs over the last few months) they've leapfrogged Bots as "Most annoying MM to be teamed with" thanks to their bulk (the MM can run through them but team-mates are blocked by them) and that wretched screeching they keep making.

I'm sure they're effective and all, but when a MM joins the team I rejoice if they're a Necro, Merc, Ninja or Thugs rather than a bunch of fat noisy things which constantly get in the way.

I do like the way I get shields, heals and that bosses occasionally get iced when I hit them with my single target hold thanks it stacking with the Princes hold.

I just wish they didn't get in the way so much (especially on tight maps) and didn't screech.

My opinion is that they are okay. About to ding 50 with a DS/dark MM, and it will be my 3rd after bots/storm and thugs/PD MMs.

I admit it could be my play style with the pets and the demons just don't mesh fully with it. Another possibility is that I went with dark instead of something like therm, which may had added to my lower thoughts on the set. Or I just had way to high expectations to begin with.

I totally agree about their fun level and I believe it is the /pain secondary. I tried both dark and pain and pain makes the pain go away.
