If your base rent is seriously overdue, the power gets "stuck" off even when you pay the rent, and you need to send a /petition to get things unstuck.

The bright side is that this bug is well known, so it tends to get fixed quickly. I've had it happen several times, and I don't think it's ever taken more than a day before it was corrected.

One of my Bases persistantly has this problem. I always wait until the power gets shut down before I pay my Rent because I'm a cheapskate. Anyway, the Power Generator is stuck powered down. I just sell it and buy another one, and I'm good to go.
I've tried alternatingly buying a Tech or Arcane Power Generator, but I find that it didn't have any effect the next time I have to pay Rent. I've also tried selling off the Power Room and buying a new one, but again, the trouble persists.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
So I just got back in after a few months out of the game and when I went into my SG base nothing worked in it. I went to AP to talk to the SG guy since I figured I owed some rent, but he tells me I don't owe anything. Checked my Generator and Mainframe and I should have more than enough power and control for everything in the base, but the Generator isn't producing any power. I deleted and rebuilt the generator and mainframe a few times, but I couldn't get them to produce any power.
Any suggestions?
