Well, you need 4 to start the TF, but that's usually no big deal.
The question comes down to whether or not your build can solo a Dark/Psychic Arch-Villain while exemped down to level 40 (so no level 47/49 powers), while also handling the ambushes he spawns at regular intervals.
I don't have any builds that can do it, but I don't specifically build to beat AVs either....
It's relatively easy to make a build that can either 1) defeat an AV or 2) survive an AV, but builds that can do both at the same time while solo are a bit harder.
A Fire/Dark Corruptor would have issues with #2 there (imo) but if your build can do it, then sure, go for it 
PS: not sure what server your on, but I've got Villains on Pinnacle, Guardian, and Protector that I'd be happy to log on, start SF, log out and forget about for a few days to hold the SF open for you if needed.

Weirdly enough, I have had a hard time getting fillers for a sec. My two powers that I'll be getting disabled on me are only the mu pet and conserve power, not bad. Thanks for the tip on what his powers are though, I'll be prepared. Elusive mind will help for a bit, probably the first 25%, then I can hit Demonic aura to help out after. after that, hope for the best lol. As long as I can keep the Darkest night toggle on him I should be ok. My corr has a purple set in blaze and fireball as well which will help a bunch. Probably gonna wait till friday to try and get it started though. As long as I can get it started I can take as long as I want.

I wound up duoing the SF with a EnM/Nin stalker. Weird combo but it worked! At first he wanted to stick around for the badge, which was fine, but we figured that duoing an sf is pretty good too.
The first 7 missions were a joke of course, no harder than paper missions, but that AV, Archus, he's a beast, and his mezzes combined with ambushes chock full of succubi had me in the hospital about 5 times (long fly back to thorn Isle X(....Luckily, in Nerva the AE building is right next door to the Hospital, so I could run in, grab half a tray of blues for him, and half a tray of breakfrees for me (his Kuji-in Rin was keeping him safe), fly back to the mish and distribute blues and keep fighting.
The biggest pain in the neck about it was all the psionic crystals on the walls/floors/ceilings that were targettable, so that shot that could have put down the succubus would fire off at a random crystal, I get mezzed, blargh...
But honestly I couldn't have done it without that stalker. We completed it in 2h 47min roughly. No way I could have solo'd that lol. And now I want to roll an EnM/something stalker 
But first I gotta finish getting the Megalomaniac accolade.

Duo for that TF is very impressive. I've seen that AV take down entire teams no problem. Rough encounter for sure.

Not sure if it helps, but I've found vs. AV's nothing beats a bunch of purple candy on squishies, especially if you have something like darkest night to give good -dam/-tohit. Defense guards against all attacks, (barring non-autohits) so carrying those helps a bunch even vs. mez. I tend to buy up cheap tier 3 candy through standing bids, and save my new alts' tier 3's in the base for such occasions: combine them into tier 3 defenses, then carry some small lucks as well. A luck and a phenomenal luck together get you softcapped a full minute to all. A couple rows of these for an AV is great to have when soloing, just pacing the snacking as their terms expire. This frees you up to be far more ballistic against the big bad, and less concerned about survival.
Also, if you e-mail them to yourself before hand, you can download candy from your global mail that you couldn't quite fit.

The worst part was his self-heal. Even after the ambushes were wiped out and it was just me, Mr. awesome Stalker, and Archus, we'd get his hp down to a sliver and BAM! half-health again. My TG was keeping us alive while I had breakfrees on the go, but the luckiest thing that happened was my chance for hold in fire blast and blaze that stacked enough to get Petrifying Gaze on him a couple of times at just the right moment (fluffy helped, too), Stalker AS'd, then energy transfer'd, I piled on more fire, and Archus finally fell. WHEW! Only problem was that I didn't get the enchantment of Serafina....sent an email over it tho.

I'm sure someone has pulled it off before, and I'm taking a shot at it tonight with my Fire/DM corr. He comfortably solos at +1 x4 normally but I'm taking it down to +0 for this since it will already be at x4 when I start. From what P-wiki tells me, it's 8 missions with an AV (Archus) at the end that summons an ambush every 25% of hp that's knocked off of him. Other than that, it's a slew of CoT, Tsoo, CoS, and DE. No Malta = no problem lol. Any tips from anyone who has done this? I'll post results whenever I finish it.
