So FF or Sonic for my troller?

Hey All,

So I'm going to get another troller added to my all Rad team, he wants to go with Illusion but with my Rad's he is able to pick something else, so what would benefit our team more? a FF troller or a Sonic one, in other words, with my teams combined 3x Maneuvers would layering more +Def be better or go with sonic? I have all the Debufs that this team could ever need so I am thinking FF?

Any Ideas?

Have you considered Illusion/Cold? Defensive shields, and generally better other powers.

LOCAL MAN! The most famous hero of all. There are more newspaper stories about me than anyone else. "Local Man wins Medal of Honor." "Local Man opens Animal Shelter." "Local Man Charged with..." (Um, forget about that one.)

From what you've described I agree with Local Man. Cold Domination is probably your best bet.

I think Robert is multiboxing. /FF is a multiboxer's dream as it takes very little effort. Or so I have heard.... /Cold is certainly more powerful if you're going to drive the character. Esp. vs single hard targets.

Out of FF or Sonic, I'd suggest Sonic.

If you're running multiple Radiation Infections, you're probably flooring your chance of being hit most of the time, which would mean that FF contributes very little. The only reason to go FF would be if you dont run Radiation Infection during most fights (and it does have a long animation, so thats a viable style).

Sonic on the other hand will soiften the blows that do get through by adding Resistance, and also provide extra -Res debuffs. Contrary to what you said, you can never have enough of these, since each additional debuff will up the damage even more. Well, up to a -Res cap which I doubt you'll reach.

Basically, go Sonic out of the two. You'll hit the +Def softcap well befoee you hit the -Res cap.

I've considered it, but well, they are ugly. I'm very "Martha Stewartish" when it comes to CoH. Too bad you can't pick how the shields look, rather then just the colour.

Yes very very much Multiboxing so looking for something that's more fire and forget.

So like where was all this advice yesterday!!!!!

I don't run my debuff's as much as I should, though when I feel like it I am tossing out 3 RI's 2 EF's and a LR for poop's and giggles.

I'll have to consider this carefully as I tried it yesterday in AE and I didn't see a huge difference, mind you the FF' hasn't reached 20 yet so there isn't a second bubble yet (The team one).

So the team will be: plant/rad, plant/rad, rad/arch plus the new one?

Go definitivly sonic. with a fourth maneuver running, and little slotting, you are near softcap nontheless. A second layer of protection, resistance is a welcome addition to that. As well, sonic will give you a nice res debuff when charging in, and a nice res debuff for AVs. If the new char is activly played, make an ill/sonic, if passivly i would add Ice/sonic and go in for the fight after seeds. That will debuff the recharge on enemies and stack with your confuse of seeds. If you don+t need more mitigation, then go for a Fire/sonic as a passive damagedealer (hotfeet and imps, yeah).
