The Hami taunt team will go in first followed closely by the Yellow taunt team. Once aggro is under control, the other teams will follow (wait for the calls!) starting with the the closest yellow. Scrapper assault will target the yellow while the Ranged assault targets the blue closest to that yellow. This will make it easier for the scrapper team to wipe out the yellow because the green will heal the blue. Sometimes the blue will go down, sometimes it won't. Once the yellow is down, the Scrapper team moves clockwise around with the Ranged assault following. The main goal during this time is to take down the yellow ASAP.
The yellow taunt team needs to joing the assualt team as you move around the goo as the taunters mito is down if they attack the next yellow mito it will help bring the yellows down faster.

Thank you for that catch I will edit it into the original post.

This. It is not everyday you see people moving characters to a server that isn't their home just to help out.

Just a heads up, if you add the yellow taunters to the yellow assault team as they move around, make sure to remind the Tanks to turn off their taunt auras. We've had issues at several of our raids with Tankers stealing aggro and wiping the Scrappers because of this.

A few key notes to keep in mind:

  • Emp - If you are going to emp, please be attentive and active. Showing up to the raid and using RAs whenever you want isnt as useful as using them when they are called for. Only giving buffs to your friend is not as useful as providing them to your whole team and tankers.
  • Dark - Having shadow fall on helps out a lot against the fear from the blue mitos. Keep an eye on this to make sure it is on.
  • Kin - Maintaining SB on people is a must. It will supply them with +recov, +rech, +speed which are all things that the blue mito can effect negativly. Keeping ID on your fellow buffers also means they can keep their buffs going on you. Using ID on the tanks means they wont be bounced around while trying to taunt.
  • TA - Emp and Kin are obviously wanted but that doesn't mean other sets are shunned. Oil Slick Arrow allows us to Fulcrum Shift and Heatloss without actually being in danger. OSA is a great prep item prior to our assault.
  • Jetpack - Having a jetpack (if you don't use fly) makes hitting Mitos much easier. If you do not have a jetpack currently, stop in FBZ or buy a temp recipe from WW.
  • Hami awareness - You need to make sure you are where you are supposed to be when you are supposed to be there. Standing or running by the tanks who are taunting yellows or hami is not where you should be.

I didn't say you had to belong to certain channels. I made an ending comment about globals in general after promoting two specific channels. If that is what you read into it, I am sorry. The post is still there, unedited.

At least you had the guts to voice your accusation openly.

If you're not part of a global channel in CoH these days, you're not trying to team!
Quoted it for easier reference. The first part of what you said I had no problem with what so ever. The last line in my eyes, made it seem to me that if you do not use or belong to a global channel then you are not trying to team. Which is what I disagree with whole heartily. If that was not your intention then it's all fine and good. Just a miss understanding.

As for me voicing my accusation. I've always said my mind, and will always do so.

It is a reasonable, but faulty assumption to make that the last line about global channels refers only to the two channels mentioned above. I can't speak for GEL but I assume, especially from the later posts, that any global would suffice. Belive it or not, there are still some people who don't belong to globals. Last night for example. I was teaming with an SG friend and PW advertised an AV team forming. I said "lets go" and he said "to what".

So I'm pretty sure I have my scrapper team lead and yellow taunt team lead in place but the ranged assault team lead is at a maybe/maybe not. If anyone is willing to be the ranged assault team leader please send me a /t to @hazygreys or pm me here.

There were some great people out there the last two weeks, have you reached out to any of them?

I believe Chronic Cold had the aggro on Hami more than controlled, Paul Metcalfe was a good hero on the Yellows, Geronimo 69 was on the ranged teams and he has an excellent mind for strategy, Nemu is an excellent choice in any position...

LIBERTY TROLL RETARDANT DISCLAIMER: I am not saying you have to select Hero XYZ, Hazy. I am only suggesting there may be some people with their feet already wet that are willing to help out.

WARNING WARNING inuendo ahead!

Nemu is good in any position! He has those big ole ears which make good for pulling on.

From your past experience ( last 2 raids) what would you guys need the most for those raids?

I could always move my fire/ff hami bubbler troller if you like. We don't really use/need him on Champion anymore . He's all set up with the binds for helping the range team to follow

I can make it tonight.

The last two there was a shortage of tanks, 3 on the first one and 6 on the 2nd. But, I've been telling people that...if you want to move the fire/ff I wouldn't turn you away

A big thanks the following people for helping lead a successful raid:

@paul metcalfe on paul metcalfe, leading the yellow taunt team.
@rockmar on diddles, leading the yellow scrapper team.
@da crusha on ultimate flamer, leading the ranged assault team.

I'd also like to thank the people from Champion server that showed up to assist in raiding

And Hazy should give himself a pat on the back for coordinating this, tesitng and sorting out the plan. Some thoughts now that I have one hami raid under my belt:

- the assault team leader needs to setup some binds
- the first green mito on the last bloom took a long time (the final stretch!). People lost interest for a short bit and just weren't all attacking the same target even though the target was called for several times. This happened with a handful of the greens throughout the whole raid.
- During the first bloom most of the blues were defeated while the yellows were being attacked. During the 2nd and 3rd blooms this didn't even come close to happening and people lingered on the original blue mito target. The assault leader quickly picked up on this and started calling out new targets so we could move around the goo with the scrapper team. It would've gone smoother if people were as aggressive and as attentive throughout the whole raid as they were in the beginning.
- people switching to emps was a tremendous help. I think it would've gone a lot differently if there wasn't an emp on my team in particular

Great job COMMUNITY!

Next *** whoopin' Sunday at 3:30pm ET. I'll be there with bells on.

Liberty: Individually unique. Together (with a few folks from other servers) took down Hami

Yay!!!!!!! YAY!!!!! Sorry.

My only tank is lvl 47 and not close to be completed.

I have a bunch of trollers, blasters, scrappers available. and 1 kin def that could be useful

Congratulation on successful raid
