A Question About Damage Procs and Their Sets

I just purchased the complete set of Perfect Zingers which has its' own damage proc. I'm new to the use of IO sets so I've got what may be a daft question for the veterans who've been using them for a long time. I bought the set for its' 10% regeneration bonus but I also want to use the damage proc (Chance for Psionic Damage) it a fast cycling attack power. Can I place the damage proc in an attack like that and the rest of the 5 set IO enhancements in Taunt and still get the 10% regeneration bonus?

only need 3 from the set in the same power to get the regen bonus. So as long as your attack takes taunt sets yes.

The key thing is that you only get the set bonus for pieces in that specific power, not in all powers. Also, the proc is not unique so you could put it into your attack, and a second one in taunt to get the full 6-piece bonus from the set. I'm not recommending you do this or do not do this, just saying it is possible.

Note that you can split the set three and three and get the regeneration bonus twice. This is probably not a good idea, though, since Perfect Zinger doesn't do much to enhance the things you'd want to enhance in an attack.
