Character Slots disappearing...

I logged in a few moments ago and had the same exact problem. It says that all of my slots are either already in use or unavailable, despite the fact that I should have two open character slots.
When the Store site is down or the server can't contact the Store site, any slots above the base slots will show this behavior.
You just have to wait until the store is available to access those slots. Usually the downtime is short unless they've got an extended maintenance session going on.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

And, of course, according to the message that pops up on log-in the in-game support is unavailable all day.

That's a pretty flawed system. And I believe the in-game message listed the store as one of the services being unavailable all day. Ah well.

I logged in to make a character, thinking I had a few slots open. But the open slots I should have had said "Unavailable". So I delete a character and the slot where that character was says "Unavailable" as well. Anyone else had a similar issue?
