Stuck in Leonard's arc

in CoV, one of the issue 17 story arc (by contact Leonard) sends you to a bank where you apparently need to speak to the bank teller.

I don't see what I can do to complete the mission, the three bank tellers at the desks don't react when I click them, and I don't find any other teller anywhere in the map.

hehe, I had the same problem. There is someone by the entrance to the bank lobby who is marked as Teller to talk to.

Thanks, didn't notice this one. Mission auto completed, I'll see with next character.

She's NOT very obvious.

Ran into the same thing last night in my first time running the second half of that arc red-side. We had to look around for a bit before finding the cowering NPC whose name was "bank teller." Then, instead of actually going in to blow up the vault, it was a little surprising for me, and completely confusing for my teammates (since they couldn't read the text).

I really wish that the entire team had access to see the text from the contact.

Ok, now I'm stuck in Leonard's mission. He's telling me to go to Independence Port. I'm a villain. How do I get to IP? Submariner Janus won't take me. The helicopter won't take me. I'm not getting a way-point.

The arc is Good Villains Never Die (20-29).
The mission is Get the PPD files in Independence Port!

Unless something is really bugged, you don't actually have to go to IP, you have to go to an instance of IP that's like the mayhem map. I just can't remember off hand how you get there, whether it's by sub or board transit or something. What do you get under the compass when you select the mission under the mission menu?

Nothing. There is no waypoint or anything to indicate where to go. I tried hitting the Ferry and the Black Helicopter to see if it would show up like a train mission, but there was nothing.

I filed a petition, and they auto-completed the mission for me. That is a solution, but I could have done that myself. I'm a little disappointed that I don't get to do the mission. It sounded interesting, with built-in choices that affect things that happen later.

Before I filed the petition, I tried to use the mission teleporter. This error showed up in my combat log:

"You have a mission, but it has an invalid door_id. Make sure that the city zone containing your door is running on a live mapserver!"

I've never seen that before. And yes, the exclamation point was included in the original.

I haven't run into that before. Either the mission was recently broken, or you ran into a one-time glitch. Did you try abandoning the mission, then re-selecting it from the contact? (Sadly, not an option if you were on a Flashback).

EDIT: Necroposting is bad, m'kay? Expect Mod13 to show up and tell you to start a new thread rather than dredging up an old one.

IIRC that entrance is the sub behind the Sharks ferry.

I've been wondering if people are really going back and finding threads a year or more old and bringing them back. The one thing I've noticed is that the titles of these necroposted threads are fairly simple and straightforward. I wonder if there's something wrong with the forum software and if you use a title that's already in use, if it's just adding it on to the old thread.

I'm tempted to just go back to the oldest thread I can find and create a new post with the same title to test it.

The door selection code glitches once in a while. Most of the time it happens when I'm talking to my contact while I'm in Oro, or something. Generally, if you head back to the zone that the contact is in, then abandon the mission and re-take it, it'll select a valid door and you can proceed.

Hi all,

I'm closing this thread due to Thread Necromancy. Please remember to not bump a thread that has not seen any activity in quite some time. Instead, create a new thread, and if necessary, link to the old thread.

Thank you!
