Holaa, I've been doing some thinking lately... and I've noticed that I've made a lot of "non-cookie-cutter" builds in the past, some have done well, some have failed miserably. However, I want a new PvP toon, and I'm not too interested in gambling with another awkward PvP build. After some debating between Mind/Fire and Psy/EM, I decided to go with the blaster. I've been fiddling with the build for quite some time now, and I would just like some outside input. All criticism is welcome, Thank You.

Sooo you want him to use what an....... Ice/Ice blaster and get rekked on it because no matter how much money you put into one it would never be viable in PvP, but if it was one you would give him a build, have him waste the time in lvln it and then tell him it's a good build because it's not FOTM.

There are reasons things are FOTM and that is because they work...and he did say he didn't want it to fail miserably in his post. So plz go Dahjee somewhere else.

Since I know no one will ever go look at other Psi/EM posts.

Recovery is way too low.

Slotting on attacks is a little off, forget the chance for hold procs as chances are with you leading off with will dom, the sleep will mez with your mez timers. Slot two procs in psi dart, two in TK blast. Get the acc/rech for will dom instead of the damage (From apoc).

2 slots in hurdle go a long way.

Total Focus is pretty pointless with 4 attacks with 80 foot range.

Replacing Gaussians with adjusted targeting in Aim and BU would be better.

Drop one of those heal/rech in Hoarfrost for another KB IO, or if you drop TF for something like Veng you could just put it there.

If you can afford it, 2 micros in travel powers instead of the Zephyrs (Keep the KB IO's of course)

It's overused because it works. Rolling an elec blaster, for example, adds variety, sort of like bringing a moped to the Indy 500.


Infinity and Victory mostly
dUmb, etc.

Based on what Liberty has said.. I made a few adjustments to my build, squeezed a little bit more recovery out of it, hopefully its better than the previous build i made.

You are going to want the Miracle +recovery piece in Health instead of Hibernate. Find a way to get an extra slot there, possibly pull a slot from Hasten (the difference between 2-slotted and 3-slotted Hasten isn't that big in the scheme of things).
