Question on tohit and -tohit

I'm not really sure on how the tohit mechanics work on this game. Do tohit debuffs apply directly to something else's tohit value?

First example: if I'm fighting something that has a tohit value of 100 and I use my Darkest Night, which has a tohit debuff of 28%. Would this mean that whatever I'm fighting now have 72 tohit value instead of 100?

Second example: say I'm fighting the same thing again that has a tohit value of 100 but I use Darkest Night AND Fearsome Stare, which both has a tohit debuff of 28% each for a total of 56% tohit debuff. Would this mean that whatever I'm fighting now have 100 - 56% = 44 tohit value?

I guess what I'm asking is, if I have several tohit debuffs, would all those debuffs add up together first and THEN apply to my target? Or would it they individually apply to my target's CURRENT tohit value...such as, 100 - 28% = 72 and then take that 72 - 28% = 51.84 tohit value?

Also, where do I go to see my current tohit value? Is it in my Combat Attributes?

Yes. See this article on the Attack Mechanics.

Yes, although most enemies start with a tohit value of 50, but your scenario is current.

Yes (but again, most enemies have a tohit of 50).

Tohit debuffs really aren't percentages, just straight up modifiers.

It is, and there's two values associated with it. One is to watch your modifiers, and another (IMO more useful) is to watch the final chance to hit (slightly different, but more important IMO as it factors in both tohit (de)buffs, the target's defense, and your power's accuracy).

Thanks! I was somewhat confused because Mid's showed them as percentages and I wasn't sure.

Addition, subtraction, and multiplication are complex? It's a very simple mechanic (for the whole attack mechanic... normal tohit is even easier, as it's just BaseHitChance + ToHitMods).

This may be misleading

ToHit is read as a percentage: 75%
Accuracy is read as a modifier: 1.2x
