1. Is Midnight grasp worth taking?...I have it at 32 and its okay but as a lvl 32 power it doesnt move me.

2. Whats a good attack chain if I do take MG out?

3. Is getting AID self still needed to pvp or solo an AV?

4. Is soul drain as good as build up, better or worse

5. How does this build deal out damage at end game IO'd out and in PVP?

Thanks in Advance

1. MG is by far worth taking. It has a DoT portion of dmg that makes its total damage one of the best for a brute T9 power. It also has a very fast animation time for a big hitter.

2. I can't recall the chain, but I'm sure someone will have it soon enough on this thread. I know MG is in the best one, as well as any of them that are worth while. If you have crazy recharge, I know shadow punch is out of it, but if you don't have rediculous amounts of recharge, you will still need it.

3. On a DM/SR aid self is not needed, as you will be getting hit so little that siphon life will be plenty with it being slotted as an attack. This is for AVs as I have little knowledge on PvP.

4. Some might say it's personal preference, but I think most people agree SD is better than BU becase it can be made perma, and because its buff lasts significantly longer. It is alos one of dark's only ways of dealing AoE damage, and with high fury it isn't that bad of an attack.

5. I personally have no clue, but I suspect it will do pretty good, as the two sets together work quite well together. Although defense isn't as great in PvP, the -to hit is still worthwhile I think, and will make the defense more noticeable.

MY namesake DEVIL DINGO is a level 50 io'd out dm/sr brute. So i'll take a crack at answering your questions.

1) Yes...midnight grasp is definitly worth taking. It is your biggest ST damage dealer.

2) Don't take out MG. If you insist though....Take all the ST Dm Powers plus gloom from the Ghost Widow Patron. Btw...take gloom even if you keep MG....gloom is awesome.

3) With Dm as your primary...you don't need the health pool. Siphon life should fill all your healing needs. To be fair though...I do not pvp so i can't really say if the health pool is needed for pvp but i still doubt it's needed.

4)In my opinion Soul Drain is way better than build up. It lasts 30 seconds and with some global recharge you can get it close to perma.
Some people don't like the fact it requires a to hit check.

5)DM is the king of ST damage and i have solo'd many av's with success with Dingo.
Again... I can't really comment on pvp because I don't pvp.

Yes! And very much so! It's a great attack that fits into the top-tier chains.

I would definitely keep MG, so I'll just answer with a standard chain:
Siphon Life -> Smite -> MG -> Smite
Keep in mind, there are many different attack chains, and this is the chain on my IO'd Scrapper, so YMMV in terms of recharge. Are you talking about a leveling attack chain? Because, to be honest, that's just "hit whatever attack pops up first."

PVP?
I'm not a PvPer, but I'm pretty sure that Aid Self is not used.

For AV soloing, it might be nice, but is not in any way necessary. This is especially true now that SL is part of your chain, providing a nice mini-heal.

Tough question. Do I prefer it to Build Up? Yes. It does damage and buffs you at the same time, what's not to like? BU is a great power, though.

Once again, I'm no PvP expert, but I don't think that it'll be so great. In general, /SR isn't a PvP set.

For general gameplay, is provides great ST damage and can go toe to toe with an AV, solo or in a team.
