Please crit this PvP build
....Anyone? Pls lol. I really need yr guys help, im a noob when it comes to pvp builds.
Do you have Mid's? If you put a Mid's build up you might get a little more help. And if this is your first PVP toon I would say save it for a bit and practise on a blaster (starting on a scrapper you pick up a lot of bad PvP habits).
He wants to be one of the downy RV scrappers...................

Sorry, thanks for the link . Here is a build I found on this forum posted by another member. The power choices match mine so I am really happy I found it as I now have a base for the enhancements on my build. Here its is... Please tell me what you guys think of it as a PvP build.

Concealment, and MoG - Pointless. IMO.
IMO, you should seriously consider rolling another build, something that is used less often. Fire/Regen is so FoTM.
lol
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
Seriously though OP. Fire/Regen, even though it's sturdy, will encourage fite klubbing, and whatever else you can catch in RV.
If you already have it at 50 shelve it and build a blaster, to gather your first pvp experiences as has been said.
Thanks for the input guys.
First off, whats fite klubbing? lol. I have this toon at Level 32 at the moment so I would be quite reluctant to totally ditch it now. On the back of what you guys have said ill be rolling a blaster tonight and leveling both of these as I have fallen in love with my scrapper. What do you guys think is the best blaster for PvP? Also.... It was said that MoM and concealment are a waste on this build. What should I swap them out for? Thanks
Fite Klubbing, is toe to toe, no inspiration, no running tru wirrir style pvp.
Psi/Em Blaster would be the thing to do, Fire, Sonic and Rad are also viable primary choices.
Thanks for the input guys.

a regen without phase is listed as one of the symptoms of downs syndrome in the DSM-V.
anyways.
roll a psi/em.
or if you're ok with villainside pvp, a mind/fire or a sonic/therm.
playing a regin without any prior pvp experience encourages the development of a lot of horrible habits.
that dude's bad, don't listen to him.

I'm the bad one? Ok kid.
First of all, it's just using up your powers. I could see you picking up Stealth, but then Invis or Grant Invis? 1 wasted power that all you get is either a KB slot or a LoTG slot. The truth is, only baddo PvP'ers pick up Phase Shift from concealment.
Psi/EM is FoTM, and Psi is broken, that is just plain and simple.
Try something like this instead:
Blaster
Sonic/EM
Rad/EM
Fire/EM
Arch/EM
Sonic/MM
Rad/MM
Fire/MM
Arch/MM
Psi/MM <-- (Yes I said Psi is broken, but hell, with MM, IMO, it does better than paired with EM.)
Sonic/Dev
Rad/Dev
Fire/Dev
Arch/Dev
Psi/Dev
Scrapper
Kat,Broad Sword, Dark Melee/Regen
Fire/SR
Kat, BS/SR
Man, the list is endless, there are many builds out there that perform very well in Arena, FC'in, and Zone. But all in all, its up to YOU. Don't ask any of us 'l33t' pvpers. You're the one dishing out the time and money. It's all just an opinion.
The fact that you're seriously telling him that rolling an SR scrapper to be successful in post I13, would be enough to make me not listen to you. Ever.
But honestly, the only really good thing to take /mm for is the fear power. And that doesn't even break mezzes.
He'd be better off with a DP/EM than most of what comes after Arch/EM on your list. Yes I know there are good DP/EMs in the game that's why I'm saying it.
You want this guy to have a semi easy, fun first proper PvP experience, and face it, no matter what you think of it Psi/EM is the easiest one. I have a Sonic, Psi and Rad/EM and while the Sonic and Rad are good, the Psi is just the easiest.
Not looking for an argument, just giving my opinion. Again.
Psi/MM <-- (Yes I said Psi is broken, but hell, with MM, IMO, it does better than paired with EM.)

Your advice to people is as bad as someone else I know that posts really really bad advice...................................
And to the OP: how much do you want to spend on your blaster build, because fully decked out you are looking at a lot of $$$.

Fully decked out is the plan so thats fine. Im just about to create a psi/em blaster right now, any good mids builds that I could draw from?
The truth is, only baddo PvP'ers pick up Phase Shift from concealment.

The Psi/Em blaster is now on its way. Thanks guys Now, what would you guys suggest for this build? Taking out concealment was mentioned... What should I swap it out for?
Keep concealment.

Since you have metioned that price is of no concern, I will give you a helping hand on that 'Search' here: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=224820
This will help you some.
Well for beginners, the srach option will guarantee much more in ideas than one posting a build for your viewing. Indeed in the state of interest you have as a beginner, I suggest that you do roam this forum for related threads. Or, build one on Mid's and psote it for suggestions/ideas or aggreements.

Sorry, I should have clarified... I meant what would you guys suggest for the scrapper build.
