Traps Questions
I can think of three reasons:
1. A mistake was made during proliferation
2. A mistake was made to the MM one when IOs came out but the devs don't consdier it serious enough to bother fixing since doing so would sort violate the cottage rule (change of enhancements)
3. The devs consider the chance to hold proc to powerful for MM acid mortars but not Defenders.
bug: Report it.
When something good happens to me, I can never enjoy it....
I am always too busy looking for the inevitable punchline...

An unfortunate bug considering the devs recently went through and adjusted the sets that caltrops and trip mine accept for MM's, but adjusted them incorrectly.
1 step forward and 2 steps back.
I have a 50 Thugs / Traps MM and a baby Traps / Dark defender.
And it got me wondering.
Why do Caltrops and Acid Mortar take different enhancements, depending on AT? Defenders get ranged damage, while MMs get targetted AoE.
When did MM trappers lose the ability to slot PBAoE enhancements in Caltrops? My MM has /4/ damage procs in Proctrops ... and I can see why that's a teeniest smidge nutty, but I don't remember that change.
