Plant / Storm Build critique
In what capacity do intend to use the toon? Farming? Team play? Solo?
Looking at your build briefly it looked like a pretty good viable build. Great recharge and great recovery.
I'm sure you'll get some OMG *gasp* "No Fly Trap!!111eleventy111!!" comments but I agree its a sound choice to omit that from your build (even though I do have it I was never impressed with Fly Trap.)
I don't use Vines or Spores but considering you opted for more control over defense I think its a viable trade off. (I chose to soft-cap to S/L.)
Overall nothing outstanding or glaringly wrong. There have been a few recent posts (by ketch I believe) that discuss creeper slotting, specifically concerning the AoE procs. I bring it up in case you didn't know. They seem to only function at initial casting and every 10 seconds after that.
I think this build should work well.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way (what can I say? I loves me some Flytrap), lesse... positive stuff: looks like a fairly solid build. I can't say I'm all that impressed with Spores, though- with the amount of AoE Plant/Storm throws around, it's quite useless.
Hmm... Frankenslotting: the Posi's Blast proc may not work in Creepers, at least beyond the initial casting. Speaking of Posi's Blast and Creepers, why not slot it with that set for the recharge bonus? Far as I can see, you've only got two 6.25% bonuses. Or is the damage tradeoff in losing the Frankenslotting more than you care for?
I think you might be able to squeeze a bit more recharge out of the build, but I'm not sure what you're willing to spend, and what tradeoffs you're willing to make. Nothing major jumps out as being wrong, but the tweaking... well, there's always room for tweaking ;p

She helps out but if you don't watch her she gets you in trouble; she has the ranged attack I always forget about. As you pointed out its a good place to slot a juicy sets for some good bonuses.

I am planning to use this toon for teaming and taskforcing at level 50, also to experience the new GR content, hopefully to become a Rogue and having access to all the redside content aswell... I have lots of toons but i'm trying to decide on one to use for all the content i haven't done yet, dare I say it... maybe even the shadowshards xD
Sooo... this is where i'm at so far..
I changed the creepers to a posi set, no proc and 6th slot a common Recharge.
Anything else perhaps?

So first off, I like your build, you've netted some good recharge and I like a lot of your slotting.
However how set are you on the Ice Epic? For Controllers, I always find myself leaning towards the Stone Epic for the SL Defence, good ST attack (which few Controllers have), and a fast recharging AoE.
I played around with your build, if you don't mind the ugliness of Rock Armor, so that you have more recharge, slightly more recovery, and 34% SL defence with CJ on. (But not Hover). I guess the only things you might miss are the worse enhancement values for Lightning Storm and the weaker Def Debuff from Freezing Rain (which personally I don't think matters too much.)
I hope you like it, or at least it gives you some good ideas.

Something you might want to consider in your build is the Achilles' Heel proc in Freezing Rain (the size of the AoE and the fact that you get two ticks every time you fire it means that there's an excellent chance of it firing a few times). I'm not sure, but I think you need to be ground-bound to use most of the Stone Mastery powers. Not familiar with them, though.
Just tossing this out there, as an aside- this is my planned build. I've been... fairly ruthless in my pursuit of recharge >.> Mind you, I tend to play my 'troller more like a Blaster than anything else- fast and homicidally insane I don't need defense if everything is either bouncing, locked down, or dead.

1.34 /s net gain on the edurance when travel power is toggled would worry me a little... especially on a Stormie...
infact even with 2.95/s on mine I feel like I want more recovery xD

And keep in mind Earth's Embrace is oh-so much more than just simply a self heal, that +HP makes a real big difference in staying power.

the numbers add up but i'm pretty set on being a flier for this toon.
from the build above I may drop 2 slots from Lightning as previously suggested to place elsewhere.. unsure atm tho where to put them.

I just specced out of Stone Mastery but I am sure Earth's Embrace doesn't require you to be on the ground and neither does Seismic Smash. Hurl Boulder and Fissure do require you to be on the ground. I'll test on my Earth/Storm to verify for you. (Looks like it was answered as I was typing)
If you are interested in looking at a Plant/Storm/Ice build. It may give you some more ideas on your options with a different APP. Its one percent shy of the S/L soft-cap and needs a few minor tweaks here and there but overall I am very pleased with the results. Keep in mind that Hiberenate is subject to the 120 second "No Phase" limitation as soon as you activate it; point is you wont be able to activate it every 79 seconds as Mid's reports.

Glad I could help Donna, and totally understand how ugly RA is. I just wish the devs would make it look less visually cringeworthy.
I would probably put the Ragnas in CC instead of Ice Storm for the added recharge.
And I would personally have more use for EE than Hibernate I reckon.

It will be for playing at level 50, so power choice placement means nothing. Can anyone see anything that jumps out as "wrong" or if something could perform better if it was tweaked....
