I support this idea!
I've often wanted to experience it without the players knowing I'm watching. So I can see what areas get bottlenecked/slammed through.
Making tiny adjustments to refine the arc would be so much easier with this feature.
Not sure about the technical restrictions though.

observing i highly doubt will happen, however you do get a message when someone leaves a comment and/or rates the arc, but if they dont do either then theres no way to know if someone ran it
While unlikely, I actually think it's feasible. The Arena allows observers so possibly they could use a variant of that code.
I'd like to get notified if someone/team is playing one of my arcs. An in-game message or even an email would be fine. Furthermore, I'd like to observe them playing it. Invisible, no interference. Other games allow observing from others players points of view. It is good for learning and real good for testing. Might even be entertaining, if I've done a good job.
