CoH CCG Trade Request

I've gotten very close to completing sets of the Arena and Secret Origins decks for the CoH CCG, but there are a few cards that have eluded me thus far. I'm looking for the following rares (non-foil, preferably), and I've got several other rares I can trade if anyone's looking for something specific.

Was "Arena" the base set, or an expansion? I have a bunch of the base set, but no expansion stuff. I'll check through it tomorrow.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, "Arena" was the base 324-card set. It was never actually called that on the packages, but was indicated on the official Web site.

i have some. i will take a look over the next week or so to see if i can fill anything you need. in fact the last time i did this it was for one of the red names.

Okay, looks like I have the following:

They're all pretty much unplayed. Do you actually play, or just collect?

Yeah, the game was discontinued in 2007, not too long after the expansion set was released. I've been working on getting a complete set primarily just for collecting and archiving purposes. None of my friends around here are much into CCGs, so these'll probably not see any actual gameplay.

Is there any chance that the free decks they were giving away were from this set? If so, let me know and I'll dig mine out--might still have it in my old "random game swag" box.

Assuming you mean the Demo Decks based on individual Heroes (Mynx, Positron, Statesman, Synapse, Tricksie), the bulk of those cards were included in the regular Battle Packs for the corresponding Heroes. The few cards in there that were normally rares, I already have them.

It looks as if I might be able to get some of the cards knocked off the lists in my original post. I'll update here when I know for sure.

Just wanted to post positive feedback on our trade, everything went well.

Yeah, I'd been buying boxes of the cards from a site that has them cheap, but I'd just gotten to the point where the diminishing returns weren't worth it to keep going. I'm looking at going to GenCon in a couple weeks to poke around there.

Well, I stopped by GenCon this month and found one dealer who had some of the CoH CCG cards for sale (on clearance, no less). As a result, the only non-foil card I'm still missing is 218 (Inferno) from the base deck. If anyone has one they're willing to trade, please PM me. Thanks.
