Game is not working

My coh updater refuses to update the newest patch, i have tried restarting the pc, remaking the shortcut, put the eu path out and back in again.
I have pretty much done anything bar reinstalling the game and i know for a fact that i am not the only one suffering from this problem after the patch that was supposed to come today as several of my friends have the same thing as does several others in forum section but their problem seems to have fixed itself magically.

This is the error message i get.
Wrong game version, run patcher and reconnect, server 1800.201006040036.5Tr, client 1800.201006040036.3T

I'm having this problem too

No access here either. Tried most of what you did as well Seph, getting the same error message.
Was hoping to get in to fix my MA arc (seems a patch borked it... again).

Same message & unable to get online, (EU account here)

This worked for some people in another thread:

One thing you could try doing that might work is to delete the Coh.checksum file (located at either C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\Coh.checksum or C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes\Coh.checksum on Windows (32bit and 64bit Windows, respectively). That should force it to get a new checksum and hopefully force it to patch the client.
