Thanks!
I just wanted to thank the server as a whole for helping me have a very fun day!
One of the Sisterhood folks logged off their scrapper and took the time to show my fire blaster and a few other blasters a nifty little thing called Jousting. <snip> Tonight, someone stopped what they were doing, and showed me something. Took care to be sure I understood it. I don't think that's a typical thing, so I wanted to mention it. Thanks to the Sisterhood and the rest of Liberty. |
Gawd, I love The Sisterhood!
I'm so proud too! *sniff*. I need a tissue. The only ones I have here have all been used. *sniff*!!!
It's too Barney. It's all about rainbows and sunshine.
Together united individually unique or whatever the tag line is. It's just too mushy. Stop it! Stop it right now! Sisterhoodandfriendsmyballs!
Do something shocking, drop the c bomb. Kick a kitten. Call in sick to work when you're not really sick. Be bad.
I don't think I can do that Susan. Once I pulled out the Sisterhoodandfriendsmyballs! card there's no going back.
You can join my SG if you want, The Tremendous Codpiece League. I don't have a chat channel since it's just me.

I've been bad. It's over-rated, and the energy it took could have been much better used.
Being bad is the easy thing to do. Try being encouraging. That's a challenge. Try seeing the value in people behind a character, even though that character has powers it shouldn't have for the maximum effect, and seems to be played by a child who has dyslexia or a grown up with a very bad typing problem.
Anybody can be bad. Try to be good. It's more of a challenge.

Batman spent years trying to understand the psyche of the criminally insane. Sometimes, people are mean for no other reason than they know that doing so will irritate you and others like you. It's true that acting selfless and working towards the greater good is a bigger challenge that is more fulfilling than "kicking kittens," but some people arent interested because it doesn't make them laugh until they shoot milk out of their nose.
Some are Villains and some are Heroes. Often times, the only way to win is by not given the Villain the satisfaction of an argument.
Golly! Jump to conclusion mats all around!
I have no issues with anyone. Even Carlos and his spicy weiner even though I think you have me on ignore. I don't have an elitist attitude, I don't team only with the best players. I'll team with Camo.
My reason for commenting (and taking the opportunity to put in a jerkoff joke -- used tissues, haha!) was that this purple dinosaur sing songy ******** is sickening. I thought I made that clear.
Just so you know I spend a lot of time teaming with folks, offering advice and sharing builds. It's a privilege to team with me and I'm the one who should be thanked!
There! We got to the root of the problem! You all should be thanking me! ME! ME!!!!! I'm done!
You're ******* welcome.
I didnt mention your name, Fitz. I was speaking generally. The post wasnt directed at you, but was meant all encompassingly to give a general idea as to why some people are jerks.
And yes, I do have you on ignore in game.
Hey, Fitz!
Thanks!

Welcome back, Ukaserex. Look me up @Grynder when you're on next. I'm not on as frequently as those days but have been known to sneak on occasionally.

I've been playing a blaster, more often than not since I started playing this game. My main has more hours on patrol than the 9 other 50's combined. I stopped playing just about the time PvP was getting popular, if you could call it that - right after issue 6, I think it was. September '06 was my departure date.
One of the Sisterhood folks logged off their scrapper and took the time to show my fire blaster and a few other blasters a nifty little thing called Jousting. Old hat to most of you, I'm sure. I'd heard the term before; I'd thought it was one of those temp powers or one of the bonus packs they were discussing.
The last time I'd played a blaster with a "nuke" that couldn't be targeted like Blizzard was before they put a cap on taunt. So, I could always jump right in and go kaboom and be safe, as the tank would maintain aggro. (Well, Everything Nice would maintain aggro - not every tank was as dilligent as he.)
Tonight, someone stopped what they were doing, and showed me something. Took care to be sure I understood it. I don't think that's a typical thing, so I wanted to mention it. Thanks to the Sisterhood and the rest of Liberty. Got Sister Psyche done today with a pretty darn nice team. A shame we had that odd map-serve- d/c thing happen.
Gained about a billion tickets doing some AE missions too.
A very productive day on Liberty. Thanks!
