Why isn't this build softcapped?
I see 34.7 defense to Smash/Lethal. I turned on the PvP view, but the smash/lethal defense value didn't change. Are you actually seeing 45% to smash/lethal in the Totals for Self screen?

I'm looking at it, and Mid's is only showing me 35% S/L Defense. You've got about 10% S/L in Bonuses, 5% from Weave, 2% from CJ, and about 16% from Frozen Armor. So I think rounding off and adding the decimals should give around the 35%. I'm not really sure where you're getting the extra 10% from, and this build doesn't look like it's soft-capped.
Mid's is showing 34.7% defense to S/L for me, not 45%.
Yes, I was seeing 45.1% in totals for self. Frozen Armor was giving me 26ish, Weave 8ish, so on.
I guess my mids is corrupted then. Great. Oh well, I guess. Lesson learned.
In a half serious statement, anyone have about 7 respec recipes laying around so I can strip this build? I pretty much have no interest at all in playing this now. Don't get me wrong, 35% is nothing to sneeze at.. but it's not what I paid for, and not what I wanted.

Got you to softcap with only the loss of your bonuses from fortunata and a bit of recharge on aim/concentration. Hope it helps.

It does indeed look good. Though acc is lowered aswell, I think it's quite a viable build. I don't think I could afford it though at the moment, kinetic combats are hella 'spensive. I'll keep it around at least. Never know~

Yes, a version of Mid's is bugged with blaster numbers.
I ran into the same problem. Thought I had my Fire/Fire/Cold blaster softcapped to Smashing/Lethal AND ranged, and posted it expecting to get "Wow! How'd you do that?!" in response....only to find out my Mid's was bugged and it wasn't even close to what I thought it was. Update your Mid's, it should solve the problem for you.

Yeah that mids bug could have been the issue. Of course it would have also had you doing damage in the thousands on everything and capped recharge
Yeah. I reinstalled and that fixed it, thankfully.
I'll probably end up doing that build you made Verene, but I'm not sure yet. May end up just stripping it and deleting it.

Is my mids bugged or something, or is it just wrong? Is this a known issue?
I just built a fire/mm/cold with the intent to softcap S/L. It's currently level 47, so it's not quite complete, but all the def powers are slotted and should be functional completely. All that's left is more rech. Yet while my mids build shows me at 45% percent, in game it's actually only around 35%.
What's going on here? Did I really just blow nearly 2 billion on a build that isn't going to do what mids promised it would? If so I guess that's what I get for trusting it.
