I have a question about posting pictures to the forums. I am not real good at keeping track of to many web sites and such. But I do have a facebook page and want to know if I can just link to an album there.

I'll answer this one in the only way I can. I don't know so I guess you could try and see what happens.

It should work if the album is an open one.

If it says you're adding me, it's not me!

I have never logged into facebook. I've never created a profile there. And I don't plan to.

I would get overrun by Yoville and Farmville invites.

Fluff Busting Purity greasemonkey script I never see those Farmville and Mafia wars stuff anymore. And the script also makes it easy to block apps.

Facebook itself makes it easy to block apps...by clicking "block [appname]" or "hide [appname]" or "ignore [appname]".

I see an app post on my newsfeed once, and then I never see it again, ever, because I tell Facebook to not show me them. And apps are no longer allowed to send notifications and invites through your invite page.

Easier when multiple apps are grouped together like this script does rather than spread out across your page.

I am one of those weird folks who actually reads the privacy policies and such. I was unimpressed with FB's privacy policy combined with it's "mission statement"... & don't EVER intend to jump on that bandwagon. *shudder*

For posting pictures, I usually host on imageshack. If it's an "important" pic, I'll re-size it to smaller/lower quality in PhotoShop first. I'll also keep those photo links in the account I have there, which allows me to delete them any time I want (yes, I'm a pseudo-control freak). I also keep a notepad file for my picture links... again, for the "important" pics. There are plenty of pics out there that I don't care about, and don't necessarily keep track of.

Once I have a url for the image, I just use the image tool at the top of the message box.

You must have ALOT of time to read the terms and conditions and policies and whatever.....

I like Photobucket...well, like is a strong word as it's aimed toward 14 year olds it seems and it kinda bugs me...but it works great.

You upload your thing, share is on the top dropdown on the image, pick more, get link code, and they have the board code right there for either thumbnail or full sized.

[removed picture that was too big]

Also, it's not blocked like Facebook is at many workplaces. Usually.

Not necessarily, there is a format. Once you know the format, you look for certain key phrases.

Sometimes, it's not only a matter of what is written, but also that which is NOT written that one needs to be wary of. It is actually a severe LACK of several key phrases that makes me cringe at FB.
