As you see we're full for this run and with some very familiar faces from the previous Early Bird runs.

Prof Mal has agreed to lead this run because he knows this and LRSF much better than I. Really grateful for him to that; I hate leading when I'm not totally sure of what is going on. I think our chances just went up.

We have maint in the morning. It SHOULD be finished an hour before our start time but if it over runs badly then we will look at rescheduling if necessary.

Hopefully, you can run one of these on a weekend (if possible). My blue badger is in need of both the LRSF and Cuda redside and Kahn and STF blueside. Unfortunately, during the week it's alot harder for me to get good solid blocks of game time in.

Well that was an interesting run.

We started off a little late (10.15am) but we had a really good run and the only one who was in ANY danger was me on mission two when I got hit by SOMETHING that dropped me into the red.

Other than that it was a very safe run and I thank Prof for doing the lead. I learnt a lot and shall crib shamelessly when I lead one.

Reichs spawned incredibly quickly and on top of us after the fourth AV that gave us no chance to react and killed a squishy. But the team was solid and frankly if the AV spawns on your head you are going to die; don't think even the brutes would live through Reichy spawning on their head.

Well a testament to the crowd here we started only a few minutes late and that was because I was rebooting due to lag.

Not the smoothest of runs mainly due to lag, some very odd spawns and - in my case - not enough caffeine. Unfortunately we had a death on the second mission where one got in a pincer between two Wardens.

So consensus was a restart once and go through to the end for merits win or lose on the next one.

Unfortunately at that point we lost Willow. We chilled in GV for a while (we thought she'd DC'd but it turned out that it was due to a drunk hitting her net). He's going to have more than a hangover if she catches him I think.

So we sent a tell to Jaffah who kindly agreed to join us. That mean we needed another buffer so Viv alted to a buffer. Yep. The brute goes corr. You KNOW this is going to end well, don't you?

First couple of missions were a little rocky. The spawns were better but while five of us had run the other day, one of those had alted so the dynamic changed big style. No real major scares but just not gelling initially.

By mission two it was going better except for yours truly who was suffering the cat aggro from hell. However, I admit I can't blame them for my health nose diving into the red and I have no idea how I survived. I swear I could not see ANY health in my bar. But emptying an entire column of greens worked combined with SS my rear to safety. I'm guessing there were heals chucked at me too but it all happened so fast. I went from full health and strength of will to almost nothing in an instant. *shudder*. Longbow do nasty things because I checked and SoW was still up.

Anyway after that it got easier. Not the fastest group in the world; we did seem to be TF AFK for some reason and poor Anne DC'd on every mission exit I think onwards we did.

Some great traps made short work of the AVs on the final mission. Pretty much text book until Reichsman and then we got a little worried wondering if he'd do the same as yesterday. The plan was kill GW in the machine so we got temps as she died then run to the junction. Amazingly Reichs didn't spawn as fast as yesterday so we were good.

The ambushes were ... tiresome. Badjac and bots did the pulling and after what seemed like an eternity of ambush, bots/bad, ambush, ambush, ambush. It looked like it was time to whack Reichy.

And we did. Amusing moment: Badjac got stunned and backed off a little, and Jaffah took that moment to go get his temps. That left your friendly squishy stalker tanking Reichs for a few seconds. Um. Amazingly that went well. But next time ... let's not do that.

The rest of Reichsy was pretty much effortless. Few of us got stunned but I don't think anyone's health dipped much.

Result: Master of Barracuda SF.

Major thanks to all of the team who showed a lot of patience. Jaffa great of you to in at short notice well past bed time but worth it for the first Mo badge, eh? Great tanking by Bad there too. Awesome buffage from Mr H and viv. Mal; thanks for leading that, I learnt a LOT. And stone - first run of the Cuda and get a Mo. Woot. Glad you stuck with it Anne the DCs must have driven you batty especially on the final mission.

Since I asked for the weekend run, I am onboard for it. I have an exterminator coming in to see about our ant issue, but I can always play on the laptop which was my main until I upgraded my video card on the desktop.

I am up for it also, kinda early for me, but I NEEEEEDZ that badge.

I'd love to get in on this with my main badger, Dash Bleu (lv.50 ma/sr scrapper). I've never played alot of redside, and never taken a villain beyond lv.28, so I have little familiarity with the Strike Force content. If anyone has a fave player guide to this SF they could link to, I'd love to do a little background reading before tackling it.

I'm down for MoBSF or MoLRSF (my badger, Princess Scarletta - currently 930 badges, is an emp/electric defender). If there's a spot on the Saturday run, I'd love to get these two out of the way.

I've run both SF's a few times, but probably wouldn't be a good leader on them yet. I've got the other 4 Mo's on this character, so it's not like I'm not going to be a liability on any attempts if that matters.

Forgive the double post but in case someone sees this and not my tell: Vixen's CoP is 1pm Saturday. I wouldn't bet on us finishing before then. We might but I couldn't say for certain.

Let me know if you are still in on this run, I don't want to pull people off Vixen's CoP and will reschedule if necessary. But I would like to know ASAP so I can let people know.

DON'T pull out of this Master Cuda for my CoP. I just found out I have to be in class tomorrow and won't get home til almost 1pm. I will start the CoP sometime after that. I can't 100% commit to a time because you just never know how long the dam doctors are gonna talk for!

Ack! Capa, I'm reallyreallyreally sorry I wasn't logged in this morning at the assigned starting time (especially after you went to the trouble of PM'ing me that SF guide/summary). My family went out to dinner last night for my cousin's birthday, which meant beer-drinking, after which my cousin and I went to a neighborhood bar, which meant even more beer-drinking, which meant that I completely forgot to set my alarm clock when I staggered off to bed. I *really* hope one of your alternates was able to help you round out the team and that my absence didn't unnecessarily delay your starting time. Again, you have my sincere apologies.

Another Mo badge to add to my collection, thanks to you and the awesome team that came together for this!!

I don't see the STF or LR as realistic (as they are extremely difficult to do sans deaths). Hopefully, I can get my hands on the Kahn TF before I finalize the process of vigilante -> rogue -> villain.

Any time you run a weekend Mo run, count me in!!

Hmmmm, Countess Felicia (American Stone) and Ameros were 'virgins' in those runs.....

Something to think about.

STF, LR and Khan are also the three I need on my main but I never stop running a Mo when I have it on my badger, so if anyone else needs the Cuda let me know and I'll see what I can do.

States is hard but easier than LR; the linked AVs in LR are brutal. I don't see why either is unrealistic with a good team, who know what they're doing and are prepared to have some patience. I know there are people on Guardian who fit that bill.

I really don't want to have to resort to the mind dom cheese on LR - I haven't used it on any of my other Mos. I detest the idea that the only way to do that is using one AT with one power set, but it likely to come to that and I know at least four people are building mind doms so we can swap in/out the dom for our badgers. At least that way we will have a good sized pool of reliable players with mind doms and we won't have to scrabble for one.

My mind dom isn't 50 or enhanced. I hate respecing and I don't see the point of enhancing her now and then redoing it with i19 not too far off. I have her build so I'm working on getting her to 50 and buying the (expensive *shudder*) sets she needs. I really do resent spending a load of money on a one trick pony for one SF. If you've seen my chars, you'll all know I'm a cheapskate.

An alternative idea Omega has was a load of Defenders and I had a chat with a few others about it. Not a bad idea; floor the mobs to hit and it doesn't matter how many AVs you get. Again I worry about excluding ATs.

So couple of questions to you all:
Who else would want to do a MoCuda? IE who did I miss on their badgers apart from kazzon who I know about.

What's best for MoKhan: weekday morning or weekend morning? I'll set one up. Shoot me a tell, pm or post.

Weekend mornings are best for me.
Weekdays, not so much....

I will run another Mo anything to help others earn their badge(s) as well.
