Exploration badges and teams

Hopefully an easy and quick question....did some search-fu and didn't find the answer...

When in a team (and in the same zone), does the whole team get credit for the view history plaque if one member gets to it i.e. critter defeats or do they individually have to tag it to get credit?

Thanks in advance.

I believe it only goes to the person who saw it.

Each person would have to click it on their own to earn credit for it.

Hi,

think about when doing safeguard/mayhem missions and how usually after the mission completes one team member, who already knows where it is or finds it first, will go and stand next to the exploration badge marker and then all the others go over and individually get it.

Cheers

Everyone on a team (and in the same zone) gets kill credit towards defeat badges, regardless if they were near the fight or got any xp for it. Explorations and history badges, however, do require individually visiting the sites. Taxibot-style tours exist for these for a reason; you can't just have an 8-man team split up, so each person visits one explore badge, and have the entire team earn the new exploration accolade for the zone.

Rule number six of an empathy defender is NEVER underestimate a blaster's ability to die. I don't care if he has CM, Fort, both RAs, bubbles (both FF and Sonic), and is fighting next to a Storm defender with hurricane on. If there is a way to die in that situation, the blaster will find it.

What annoys me is how the safeguard side missions give credit to the individual only. The "stop weapons deal" for example, only goes to the person who clicks on the glowing weapons rack gets credit for that, and it takes 10 times to get the badge. It's tedious to do radio missions over and over solo until you get through 10 safeguards, but you're not really encouraged to team with anyone else, the way it's set up -- unless you can find people who are not badgers but are willing to indulge you and allow you to finish all the side missions yourself.

I think the weapons deal is the exception and the other side missions give credit to the team. I know at least some of them do because a friend and I were working side missions and both got credit for the ones we did, except for the weapons deal.

Hmm.. I know that originally.. the last person to place the bomb, the person who gets the last kill, etc.. was the only one to get credit. I thought I saw talk about it being "fixed", but never really paid attention to it. If that's true, that's a good thing.
