Stamina or Not?

The DS power is one that made me like the MM for the first time. But a question, Do I take the Fitness pool for Stamina or not? Would it be better to either skip or at least postpone taking it over Leadership?

Some MM builds can omit stamina. Which secondary are you using?

I would still get stamina eventually, but I normally do not need it until 30+. I normally have some invis power running, assault, tactics, maneuvers running so I want stamina with all that.

Having tried /Dark, I would recommend taking Stamina; especially if you go with all 3 Leadership toggles. If you plan on using your whip attacks, then I vehemently suggest Stamina.

True, you might not need it right at level 20.

I'm also putting my 2 cents in to say you should get stamina on your DS/Dark MM.

My Zombie/Dark is well slotted with IO's and there is still the rare occasion that I will get too attack happy and suddenly my toggles start dropping. It doesn't happen very often though and most everything is usually zombie chow by then anyway.

Okay, tks guys. I'll get Leadership first, then at 30 start with Fitness.

A general rule of thumb for MM Stamina:

Using primary attacks? Get Stamina.
Using Leadership toggles? Get Stamina.
Using /Poison, /Storm or /Dark? Get Stamina.

Otherwise, try it without and see if you like it.

If your survivability depends on continually healing and/or resummoning your henchmen, and you tend to die at the moment when you run out of stamina and can't keep replenishing them, then get Stamina.

My bots/traps MM doesn't have Stamina, but my thugs/poison* MM does. I'm planning on getting Stamina for my demons/dark MM, but I'm debating whether or not to take the Leadership pool this time, as I did with my other two MM's.

* Actually, with only three powers taken from poison! Rounded out the rest with Medicine and Leadership, so that I could have two rezzes and Vengeance; great for teams when things aren't going so well!

I would warn if you wait completely til level 30 to start on Fitness you might regret it in that you WILL take the upgrade at level 32 and you WILL take the Dark Servant at level 38 or the gaming community will hunt you down
