Hmm... the first one I'll miss for sure, but depending on traffic I might get back from class in time for the second or third.

Which brings up my next point when I do finally start the hami raid Virtue it will be on Fri. not Thurs. to avoid any possible conflict with weekly scheduled maintenance. If it's unscheduled we're out of luck until they come back up.

Great run today guys!! I wish I could have stayed for a 2nd raid but it seemed to take forever to get it going today. Nonetheless, the one raid we did was outstanding. I only died once and that was on a pylon because I jumped in too quickly. I had 2 people on my team who kept dcing but otherwise it went incredibly well. I pulled in about 600 merits. Thanks so much. The first raid was slow starting. It took over an hour to get enough people together but it went awesome anyway. I'm not going to wait that long again. I decided that from now on the raid starts no later than 11:15 am est. I gave everyone 15 mins to prepare for the 2nd raid and we went on time. We only had enough people for 2 teams but we went anyway. Here's a screenie of those who participated in the bowl as the shields were restored. Thank you to everyone who was there for both raids. I hope to see all of you and more next week.
Awesome runs today guys!! We did 2 almost perfect raids. Thank you to all who attended. Tell your friends. This is an ongoing weekly event. I will be out of town and unavailable the first two weeks in August. I need a volunteer to run the raids for those two weeks.

I want to apologize and explain why I'm not going to be leading raids at least for awhile. Tuesday morning's raid on Virtue was a mess. I lost my temper and called everyone in the zone a moron (and I probably said some other things that I don't remember but still regret just as much). I was wrong for that outburst but this is what led up to it:
It's nearly impossible to lead 30-40 people when only 10 are listening, 5 are shouting orders, and the rest are either clueless or caught in the middle. We were stretched out all along the edge near the bomb grates. No one would move when bombs were set so teams were wiping all over the place. I kept telling everyone to move up and stay together but not even my own team was doing so. After several wipes I decided to regroup on the right side ledge over the bowl. I had people shouting to go all over the place. I was standing on the ledge telling people to regroup as I watched about 15-20 people drop like flies into the bowl. The shields went back up and I lost it. Like I said, I was wrong but I wanted you all to know why.
The Monday morning raid on Freedom was a huge success!! I did 2 raids and I was too tired for a 3rd but one was forming when I left. I grabbed about 600 new merits to add to the 300+ I already had. That's why I'm gonna start a weekly event on Tuesdays on Virtue. Same time (11am est). This will begin tomorrow (June 8th). If all goes well and there's enough interest we'll do 2 or 3 raids. After a couple of weeks to let this catch on I'll reserve Wed's and Thurs' mornings for redside Hami raids.
