Mastermind in pvp?

Okay this may be a laughing matter as many people think Masterminds in pvp are gimped, actually i know some who think they need to be nerfed (thug/bot). Here is somthing i have been wondering as the masterminds greatest foe, at least to me, is the teleport foe blaster/blaper. In theroy, at least my own theroy, you could take the fight back to them by teleport them into you before they can spam tp foe. Most blasters i have meet though have some sort of tp protection. Could you use team teleport on your minions and have them beat the crud out of the camping blaper, before he can attack, or is this impossible. Also what could i use to have somesort of tp for protection? I was just wondering and am hopeing if someone could lend me some insight. Thank you to all who replys. Have a good day.

Team teleport is more offencive than defencive in that situation, you have to be near your petsd then you can all TP together to another location, it sounds like what you need it the veteran power assemble the team, which will bring your temmates and pets to you from wherever they happen to be (within the zone/map) unfortunatlely its recharge is extremely long.

I am not aware of blasters getting any self -TP buffs, could it be thet they have defence and your TP foe does not have enough ACC to hit them reliably (My scrapper has 3acc IOs in it and has to pop build up before TP for a fairly reliable TPfoe, yeah I do less damage when they get there but at least they do normally get there) or they are teamed with a Kinetic? May I sugest you use these tactics to your advantage?

PuffCat claw/rgn scrapper
Painfull Death fire/fire tank
Spiney Slaughter spine/da walkingnuke
And many others including lvl50s of all ATs.
Mainly on Virtue, but Heroes on all servers.
A few lowbie villains on Justice and Virtue

Could just bring along a bunch of oranges or team with a Kin and solve the TP problem right away.

You can also have the powers Hurdle+Combat Jumping, and when TP'ed you jump back. Doesn't sound like it would work, but more times than not - it does. Also, be conscientious of your surroundings. Wide open areas are NOT where someone wants to TP Foe.

Pop in & out of Phase, jump around while still maintaining BMode, TP yourself in place - all these things make it harder to get a successful TP Foe off on ya.

Oh, and one more, jump on your Stalker and grief the dude till he leaves the zone.

I tried this for a while years ago. Things have definitely changed since then. There are many resist TP items today.

Further after getting a few kills on players via tping and using web envelope and web cacoon on them. I quickly became a prime target. It almost felt like it was Hero's vs me.. I was then TPed into a garbage bin. Storage container. And one container that had room in the back but I could not get out. I had to log off and back in to get out of the container.

I think it works a few times, but then honestly I think people get upset so much that they lost to some gimpy MM on a 100 million build compared to there 1 billion build, that they proceed with others to make personal that they come after you all the time.

Further High AOE DPS attacks ( fire ) can be doom for a MM with bodyguard mode on. I have had players not kill me but wipe out all my pets in 2 attacks. I ended up being a Hamster in a ball with PFF on. I did more resummoning then fighting. They didn't even bother with me. They would have Johnny Torch come over and BOOM BOOM. Off I go running. A few times they would kill me to make me feel good.

Just some food for thought.

Was that broken for a while, or am I thinking of something else? (No longer providing TPF protection, that is.)
