Purples =/= Defense?

Again wrong. CP is the only one with positional defense. But not the only one with a defense bonus.

Though I think only Invulnerables care. =) So you're 99.99999999999% right. Which, is pretty much close enough as to make no difference. I'm just in a mood to nitpick. So feel free to tell me I'm being a knob.

I edited to even further clarify what I meant.

Are there even other +psi defense bonuses to stack that with?

There are (and psi resist bonuses too) but in most cases it's not worth building around because you generally have to sacrifice some other build aspect to get there.

And even then, when you stack up almost all the psi res/defence you can find, what you wind up with is... a bit of psi defence/resistance. You don't get much of incidental bonuses that mesh with one another the way that you can accidentally wind up with a pile of accuracy when you IO for recharge.

Devastation give +3.75% (but competes with Thunderstrike: +3.75% E/NE/Rng in any defence build)
Scirocco' Dervish gives 3.125%

And of course Steadfast unique, Hover, CJ, Weave and Manouvers all add to Psi Defence.

Using these I managed to cap Psi Defence on my FF Defender.

Its also worth remembering the 25% Psi Def you can get from the Vanguard Shield temp power (100 Vanguard Merits for 30 minutes worth) and the Elusive Mind accolade. Using either of these, some pool powers and some set bonuses you could be pretty certain of capped Psi Defence against, say, an end of mission Master Illusionist whilst soloing.
