How to slot the middle teir demons?

I can't figure out what's ample for them.
Are they more playing the roll of protectors?

I mean they have the shields right?

I'm going to be playing as a thermal with this particular ds MM and I can't help but think I should assess how to best slot the demons.

This is me personally, and I won't speak for anyone else here, but I just slotted mine like I do most of my henchmen...2 acc/3 dam/1 Endred, which will eventually turn into the Blood Mandate set once my DS/Dark gets to 50. The resists and heals are nice, but I personally don't see a need to boost them too much. Now if the Ember Demon's single-target heal affected me, maybe, but...

I suppose if the Tier 2 were both the same (Both Ember Demons), I would slot in a resist or a heal, but since I don't have the numbers (nor do I honestly care that much...Let's let a number-cruncher look it up), I don't think the additional resistance or healing power is worth lowering the capabilities of the Hellfire Demon (which happens to be my personal favorite. >>)

Yup I was thinking along the same lines in this sense. But I wasn't sure if my thinking was at least justifyable.

I know my DS/Pain does a pretty decent job keeping the demons alive with the heal aura and such but sometimes just gets overwhelmed, so I wasn't sure if there was maybe something else to consider.

I think on my DS/Therm I'm planning, the damage shields along with the heals should make the demons pretty hearty.

OF course the DS/pain should be better once I can slot more res into world of pain.

I would point out that after level 32, the ember demon's abyssal empowered AoE heal does in fact affect the mastermind, as well as allies. For mastermind's without a self-heal, this feature is more critical. There is nothing wrong with slotting for accuracy, damage, heal, and of course endurance reduction since they are the first to drain themselves of the 3 tiers.

Only the Ember Demon grants a shield, and doesn't seem worth enhancing. However, the Hellfire Gargoyle has self only resists that can be enhacned. I put in End/Res and Res/Def from Steadfast Protection, plus 4 +Dam pieces of Edict of the Master.

That said, the damage/damage resist numbers are conflicting. Enhancing damage seems to enhance resistance too, and vice versa. Worse, slotting for resistance appears to knock damage down to priority B(and thus ED capping at 56% instead of 95%)

The plastic tips at the end of shoelaces are called aglets. Their true purpose is sinister.

The schedule B damage presentation is a bug from what other masterminds have reported. It still gives full damage buff for slotting damage.
