Open Season (Open RP)

"Well .....this must be the place!"

The young man walk towards the castle, dressed me baggy robes fading crimson to black. On his back two swords of different lengths were strapped with leather and cloth. He looked out of place compared the the advance city skyline of Cap Au Diable. He was taking a great risk coming here, although this man wore the garb of an assassin, he had little experience and knowledge of must supernatural being beyond the norm, thing she learnt from legends, TV and Hollywood. However confident in his abilities, he made his way to the door. Who knew what would happen. Most people do not except help so readily in these parts of the world, whether or not they were paying people for their services or not, especially when the source was simple hear-say from Pocket D. The man had to try though. If anyone could help him and get him paid, it was probably these people. Who knew more about evil that the monster that represent them so frequently in legends and stories.

He pondered whether or not he should have set up more contingency plans, escape routes, traps or even tried sneak in. 'No, that would be rude, and from what you heard it is an open invitation anyway to show any interest in or claim any bounties going,' he thought to himself. With that he knock on the door and waited

Schenkenzell, Rottweil, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

The well built form of Schmitt in his wheelchair pushed through the grass to a shorter patch, putting the basket on the floor and his wheelchair lock on as he stretched smiling slightly to the white skinned Wrath, giving her a soft worried smile, "How does here seem for a picnic spot? Sorry you had to meet my family in such a way."

He starts to unfurl the blanket not moving from the wheelchair, some would find it hard to believe that this person is the hero now known as Unbeweglich. Shifting from the chair to the floor as he smooths the blanket out, patting next to him for Wrath and stretches with a yawn.

Unnoticed by any a tall yet very stealthy being was watching the two heroes from his cover. His yellow wold-eyes finding the prey. Now that they where so close to gether... and arms entabgled this seemed to the best timing possible for Jack Wulfe to strike.

He never hated travelling... in fact he loved the forests of germany... so when he learned that one of the bounties was abroad... he followed. Far away from most of the heroes that could have helped him... or from the Longbow or PPD that had experience with super-powered enemies. This should be easy.

He readied himself and still completly silent he jumped up high... fully intending to ripp both of them to pieces with his claws. Lizzy only needed the heads for her bounty anyway!

As the werewolf starts to drop from the height of the jump Schmitt's arm flies up a powerful psionic shield forming, the manifestation being that of a Roman, spikes around the edge, aiming to at least catch the assailant on the shield

"Move!" he barks as he changes with a psionic flash, standing up rapidly a noticeable ripple in the air as his mind focuses on the task of standing, skin shining as his liquid metal covers his upper body, red trousers and shin guards allowing his movement o be rapid and unhindered. Something about the sudden change seems to indicate he was expecting some form of trouble, but perhaps not this.

Jack uttered a loud growl... the spikes caought him off-guard and managed to make wounds on his arms and legs. But he simply ignored them... his regenerative ability already visibly healing them.

Seeing the metal shield appear he changes tactics and goes for the weakest link... the girl! Aiming to jump her and using her as a shield for the metal man.

Steel Canyon, Paragon City

The Circle of Thorns spread through the buildings beneath the Portals that Kazuril had summoned. Once the buildinds had been secured, demons began to come through the portals. Behemoths took up position on each of the Building's rooftops, ready to defend from arial attack. Master Behemoths waited by the Portals, gaurds against any assult. Frost demons and succubi began to move into the buildings and out into the streets, supported by a large number of mages and thorn wielders. By the time the PPD, Longbow and Legacy chain had arrived to combat the invasion, many buildings were already being raided. As fires spread through Steel Canyon, Tezkarial stepped through the portal and looked over the city. The demon lord smiled to himself. "This is going to be a good night" he said, a sword of fire appearing in his hand which he raises over his head in a roar of "charge!"

The lich, Vladimir was his name and once a personal friend of Elizabeth before his 'demise' made him even more useful, nodded slowly and grabbed inside his robes. Dust went up and some insects escaped it. He took out a scroll and handed it to the 'guest'.

"The list...", he answered... "Bounties are better for those higher on top and of a considerable generous amound to start with." His dead eyes looked straght at the shinobi... "We hadn't had any 'complains'... yet!"

Jack got hit with enough force to be thrown off-balance. And he flipped his body around in mid-air to regain it. He landed marely 10 meters from the couple... turned and attacked again. Pushing his speed up to the limit in order to get enough moment for a metal-slicing cut.

It was obvious that he wouldn't reach the girl while the man was still there... then again... the bounty was for the man anyway!

Jack shook of the slow dizzyness of the blow... "I didn't travel so many miles to give up so easily hero! You are on the list... so you are worth money... . It is a shame I didn't expect the chick here..." He nodded to Wrath... "But I take her head just to be sure. Maybe she is worth something."

He roared between his teeth... "Now be sensible and play dead for me..."

Steel Canyon, Paragon City

Tezkarial laughed as he brought his sword down, sending a wave of fire out to knock down the Policemen infront of him. He was leading the force of Thorn wielders, Circle mages and Hell demons through the streets of Steel Canyon, sending fireballs at raided and empty buildings.
"Either we get back whats ours, or we burn Steel Canyon to the ground looking for it!" he yelled at his minions. "The Nighthunters will pay for what they did to our brothers!". So far the Circle had been getting reports of Heroes striking back against them, and it had been true for Tezkarial's force too. Three small time heroes who were in Steel Canyon at the time had been brought low by his flaming sword.

A bird's eye view of Steel Canyon revealed the true damage the Circle could cause in this attack. At five points in the city, large portals were open. A sixth had been opened at the center of the pentagon the other five formed. It was from this sixth portal that Tezkarial and his forces were rampaging. The other portals had a ring of Buildings with demons and circle mages on and in them. Fire was spreading from the centre portal and heading out towards the edges of the pentagon. Though they hadnt made much progress, they werent stopping yet. Blade watched from high in the clouds as he flew towards Steel Canyon. Only once he realised the damage did he startto fly as fast as he could.
Blade sent a message over the heroes broadcast system in Steel Canyon, relaying to all active Hero Radios in the area. "This is Blade Racer, i am entering Steel Canyon now to aid in the push back of this Circle invasion. All heroes in the area please report your situation." His voice was calm and control, but a hint of anger showed as he was finishing

Down a dark alley in Steel canyon a group of five Circle of Thorns members gathered, ready to fight as a collective force, upon hearing a noise they turned to see a Behemoth Master walk a couple of steps into the alley before slumping to the wall on its right, bouncing off of it and collapsing on the floor with a loud thud.

They simply stared for a second before looking up to see a man in black and white robes, padded boots, no sleeves with black bandages wrapped around his hands all the way up to his elbows, the bottom of his face was covered in a black and white mask while his eyes glowed a dark golden colour, his dark red hair was left blowing slightly in the wind, made up into a ponytail.

Again they simply stared for a second, and that was all the man needed, vaulting forwards he delivered a punch to the face of the first one, spinning in place he used his right leg to kick another in the face, upon landing he knelt down for a split second before launching forwards and upwards, delivering an upper cut to the third one, then with both hands he fired two simultaneous lightning bolts from the palms of his hands at the last two Circle of Thorns members.

In this moment he had floored all five CoT members, placing two fingers on an amulet around his neck with a crescent moon symbol on it he looked around the alleyway for any sign of others before speaking psycically over his amulet.

"Blade, got your message, whats the situation here? Anyone else around?"

One of Techbot Alpha’s Storehouses...

Ever since Aquis freed them from the Corporation cell they’d accidently teleported into several days earlier Big Game and Shop had been hiding out in Techbot’s storehouse.

Thankfully Aquis had managed to secure some small items like sleeping bags, a sun lounger, a TV, and beer to make things a little more bearable, but Big Game was rapidly going stir crazy.

“Damn it! Stupid state TV. I’m sick to death about hearing about the glory of Recluse and Arachnos. Why’d the hell can’t you cobble together a satellite receiver or something so we can watch something decent?”

Shop looked up from the pile of junk he was working on to a positively irate Big Game.

“I suppose I could root around Techbot’s stuff , and see if he’s got anything I can use. Although I gotta admit most of what I’ve seen in here is munitions so I can’t guarantee anything.”

Big Game switched off the TV and started pacing.

“This is stupid. I can’t live like this. I gotta get outta this dump. Geez! I was less bored in the freakin’ Zig. I dunno why Aquis is still dragging her heels for. We need to get out there and put that freakin’ leech ***** in her place, and soon.”

Big Game grabbed a new rifle, and a pile of rags from on top of one of the crates in the storehouse. He then started walking towards the doors that lead outside.

“Hey! Where you going?” Asked Shop worried.

“Out! I need some freakin’ air.”

“But Aquis said we needed to stay low unti...”

“I don’t give a damn!” Big Game interrupted. I can’t stand being cooped up like this.”

“But It ain’t sa...”

“Don’t waste your breath Kid I’m still going. Besides I’m taking precautions”

From amongst the rags he pulled out the Tusken Raider mask he used in his Wraps disguise and waved it at Shop before leaving the storehouse.

Schmitt kept pressing the attack into the man, trying to push him further into the ground, pushing the advantage as long as he has it, draining as much as he can from the werewolf with each hit, grunting as he pulls both arms over his head to swing down with an almighty force, though he seems to be slowing quite rapidly, breathing rapidly and heavily as he keeps fighting...

Hits slowing down, arms still wavering in the air as he tries to push the attack but is forced to stop to at least recuperate somewhat

Jack dug up his rage.. and stood up... Rushing his claws around to get the alusive hero. He had lost the advantage... and he didn't liek that a bit. This was meant to be an easy kill. He was in conflict with his animal rage and stuboness against his human mind.

The wolf picked up a boulder from the garden and threw it too the girl. It was stil obvious she was his weak spot.

Schmitt dropped back onto the defensive, panting heavily and watching the werewolf, leaping to try and stop the rock hitting Wrath, getting hit dead in the chest by it and rolling backwards, grunting as he tried to stand after stopping.

Struggling to his feet his eyes now seemed visible two pinpoints of psionic energy as he stretched and howled with a mixture of pain and rage, sprinting rapidly to try and attack the wolf, obviously still suffering the fatigue no matter how much psionic energy he uses to boost himself.

But the moment Schmitt re-gained his focus he noticed that his attacker was gone. As stealthy as Jack had managed to attack, just as stealthy did the werewolf pull a retreat.

And indeed, Jack was still dizzy... and the resistence he had encountered was way too much for the moment. His human mind just won it a little bit from his animal instinct... although even those instincts where talking to him about survival. He knew the couples scent... and would be able to find them again anyway.

Staying completly out of sight he moved as fast as he could.
