Ladder Stuff - Stalker Restrictions Revisited
Lets do a mock line up here with what you suggested.
Team A: 2 emps 6 stalkers Team B: 2 emps 4 Forts 2 stalkers (since nothing else can kill with just 2) Match becomes a 4v4 2 emps 2 stalkers vs 2 emps 2 stalkers granted your forts will do a little damage to the other stalkers and those other stalkers will get some out of hide sharks off. Sounds like alot of fun to me. So much skill being showcased. If you wanna argue this maybe try to get the ladder be 4v4s |

the fact that you'd counter with Team B just points to how knowledge in countering has gone down the drain.
Guarantee the Psy em will die more then a stalker no matter what. So yes. Not to mention the blaster has to actually do an attack chain not just SHRAK RUN OMG GTFO SHRAK IS OFF.

oh yeah, hitting three buttons in quick succession after hitting tab 3 times over is a lot harder than evading mm pets, webs and dominate being constantly thrown at you in order to land an AS (sharks are good, but seriously AS is what gets you a kill, but nevertheless, let's pretend it's just about 300 point sharks out hide). totally.

well, barring more than 2 instances of the main damage AT villainside resulted in what essentially was a hero league + brutes. at least when people weren't RPing CIGAL style and running doms just because playing a blaster is this game's equivalent of the konami code (not f hard).
I think we can all agree that you are fighting a losing battle barrier. It looks like the captains want a stalker restriction as well as double blind line ups.

An argument for that could be made.
But if the last league didn't prove to you how the blind-line-up submission completely wrecked the roles of even more ATs when it came to high-end pvp matches, then there's no way you're gonna see things from my point of view. i'm PERSONALLY ok with no ts no hd because I (MEMEMEMEME) believe they up the skill-ante, the game stops being a JUST damage spam. so yes, it's fiteclub. it's huge fiteclub. if you can make an argument that states that playing a psy/em in a league match took more skill than playing a stalker with 4 forts up your *** much like in i12, then i might see things your way. i'd rather be challenged by countering teams than keep playing mf dice with line-ups. |
#2: i'll break it down for you since it seems like it needs to be done: we saw so many mm's outside of the lab map. we saw a million forts. we saw so so many thermals. and oh god, yes, i throughly enjoyed all the cold corrs that were part of winning matches. add to that all the non-ta non-emp trollers. those were everywhere. oh wait. they weren't. oh and the non-psi/em blasters, those were great.

Stalkers can be countered against like I said to you earlier in AC there really is no reason for there to be a stalker cap - one as low as 2 anyway.
Soul touch is on barriers side, case closed the opposing side has won.
