Dumb question of the day

How in the heck to you unlock the new i17 hero side story arcs? I'm lvl 50 and want to do these missions.

Altough I'm more of a villain, but I think you'll gain access to them through the Ouroboros if you're already lvl 50. Once you've completed the first arc, you should gain access to the second one (but you still need to go through Ouroboros to find it).
Atleast that's how you do it on red side.

All four new arcs are level 20-29. That means that if you're level 30 or higher, you can only do them via Flashback, and if you're sub-20 you can't do them yet.

The first contact on each side will automatically be added to your list when you log in if you're in the right range, orwhen you train to 20.

The first arc on each side can be found in the 25-29 level range in Ouroboros. The villain arc is "Me, Myself and My Other Selves." The hero arc is "Twisted Reflections."

The second contact on each side is an unlockable contact, unlocked by the first contact's badge. Again, if you're in the right level range, they'll be added to your list automatically. If you're 30 or higher, they'll appear in your Flashback list as the entry immediately after the first arc.

Sure you can. You just can't get the missions yourself. If it's not via Ouroboros, a level 1 character can join someone who has the contact.

Not quite. You must meet the minimum level of the arc to join someone else doing the arc. So a level 20 can do it, but a level 19 and under cannot.

Since when? You can get Portal Jockey on a level 1 character by teaming with someone who has the arcs. I've had a level 1 character on Dark Watcher's arc. Are these two new arcs set up differently from every other arc in the game?

Uhh, brain fart. I read "If it's by Ouroboros, a level 1 can join." Which, no, a level 1 cannot join an Ouro (or a supergroup base Pillar) Flashback arc for these contacts.

My bad.

The Pillar still requires you to be the minimum level for the arc. You can just get around the level 25 lock-out from the Ouroboros zone itself.

You used to be able to use the old trick for getting into the LGTF early (being SKed up into the proper level range) to do Flashbacks that you weren't high enough level for, both in Ouroboros and in the base. This was fixed a long time ago though.
