Mobile-friendly forums?

With smartphones and iPhones on the rise, and cell phone internet access generally more prevalent, would there be any interest in a mobile version of the forums and/or the Official site designed to render better on a mobile platform?

I have an LG Xenon and tried to access the forums on it this morning during a break in one of my classes. They weren't completely unusable, but it certainly wasn't a user friendly browsing experience. Basically, it would just be a pared down version of what we have, with text and layouts designed to show better on a small screen, as well as fewer graphics. There's been some call for the ability to do something CoH related on the iPhone, so this might work to appease that too.

It's not an essential thing, but I think it would be nice. It'd give a new way for me to kill time when I'm bored and have my phone handy.

My story arcs: #2370- Noah Reborn, #18672- The Clockwork War, #31490- Easy Money

Sartre once said, "Hell is other people." What does that make an MMO?

This is an excellent idea as long as it's as accessible on all the major mobile platforms and not just iPhone via some app.

Having just used one of the better phones that is about to be released, I'm actually thinking the 'problem' we perceive is with crappy phone hardware and not websites. Because that phone had absolutely no issues with the CoH site and these forums.

But that does mean it may be a bit of time before that kind of phone hardware is widespread.

/this on so many levels.

I use a Nokia E71, it's not brilliant, but I can access and post in these forums. However because the damn thing is so slow at loading up pages compared to my PC I rarley post.

Having a mobile friendly version would be awesome. But as long as they remember that iPhones aren't the only smartphones out there.
