So I don't know what happened but ever since i17 the Behemoth Lieu. for the CoT are imaginably over powered. They are harder to kill then most purples, even when they are only yellow to you. They hit a power (unstoppable I think) and there's 1 major problem with that, it never turns off once they hit it. We sat here for 15 mins trying to kill a red Behemoth because his power wouldn't turn off and all we kept getting was deflect spammed over and over. At 50 with IO's it may not be as bad as a problem, but say at level 32, kinda difficult. Any reason for the change?

However what i17 did bring was lots of Demon MMs, were there lots of them surrounding the behemoth by any chance? They've got that Inv aura which gives +Def per enemy in melee range with them...


Best thing to do is kite them from range and lock them down. My Necro/Dark discovered this the hard way when the change happened.

The only problem is the Behemoth's aren't keeping targeted the tank. They drop aggro frequently and start attacking everything at random running all over the place. And no there were not a lot of MM's surrounding it, this was when there was no MM's in there at all. Can't kill something you can only hit 1/20 times for only 5 damage.

It's invincibility. Attack them from range or only 1 or 2 in melee.

just sucks to do that when you are in a small cave and there's 3-4 of them

Log a bug then, maybe they'll fix it. What's funny is their invinciblity is much stronger than the invincibility a tank or brute gets.

If there is more than one Behemoth there only one is supposed to be able to activate Invincibililty. So attack the other ones first before finishing with the one with Invincibility on.

... a con red behemoth.

Anybody else thinking... either pop some yellows or turn the difficulty down? Really, these are options compared to asking the developers to "fix" something that is Working As Intended.

Um... try +0/x0 difficulty for the level 30 Aura mission and there were Red Behemoth Lieu's in there. And even popping yellows still missing a lot.

Red Lieutenants means they were +2 to you (minions orange, lieuts red). Therefore, you certainly weren't on +0, or your mission bugged.

Taunt doesn't require a "to hit" check vs enemies.
I'm assuming you are talking about a Tank that DOESN'T have Taunt.

Well, since he's talking about it being his Aura-unlock mission, and the hero side Aura-unlock doesn't HAVE CoT in it, then he must be talking about Red-Side.

That means he's not actually talking about a TANK. He's probably talking about a Brute who's "tanking" for the team. And, odds are, it's a Brute without Taunt who's just relying on Punch-voke and his "taunt aura". Both of which do require that the Brute hit the mob, which he probably wasn't doing due to having a lot of folks in melee range of the Invincibility.

Not always the case, many contacts have a set diff higher than what your set on during what would be the 1st mish in a section or chapter.

Sometimes it is lower level mobs and soemtimes higher level mobs. Normally its only for that 1 mish then the next in the arc defaults back to your settings.


To OP i think its more than COT Boh's ive notice some odd behaviors of late and at times minions even kicking *** while a boss seems like wimp with aot of HP lol.

Also some weird umm not lag more like lightning fast mobs zipping back and forth with alot lately lol.
