SUGGESTION: AE Lighting + Affects
Bump...because I still like the idea...even though AE has been nerfed to the point of uselessness.
Alternatively, implying that authors have been restricted from using certain tools because they have been exploited for experience gain.

Why MA ratings should be changed from stars to "like" or "dislike"
A better algorithm for ordering MA arcs
I like the idea. I actually have a similar suggestion that I think this could be rolled into.

From the creative aspect, it is not the only reason. However, if you want people to actually play your arcs...that's a whole new ballgame.
Or do you enjoy making stuff non one ever see's? |
Yes
Does that answer your question?
Besides, the real reward for AE is the tickets you can exchange for mass-sellable rewards. And they have been doing well in fixing the XP problems, like how allies are giving XP again because of Issue 18

While setting up our AE arcs, it would be cool if we could choose 3 different settings of lighting (perhaps Daylight, Sunset and Night) that would work indoor and outdoors (for example, I might want to make a dark, horror-themed indoor arc).
Another cool feature, would be evironmental affects...for example:
Cold (resulting in ice on the floors)
Foggy (resulting in visual limitations (aka, long-range blindness))
Burning (smoke and fires)
Rain (which I can understand would be hard since we don't have it in the regular game)
These ideas are strickly meant to help with story-telling, but then, that's what AE is for.
