I have two accounts in the house and buying the addons et cetera is tiresome.
I have 2 accounts also, and always buy the 'percs' for both. My solution is to use my card on the first, then pay for the other through PayPal (using the same card.). I can do one right after the other with no hitch.

They really do not want to take my money.
I haven't bought anything since that issue way back when.
This happened to me while resubscribing. I just did it through Paypal instead and all further transactions went through fine.
