New patch Error

I just tried to log in. The updater lets me download the patch, but as it applies I get the message "Unable to replace Coh.exe to Coh.old (I shortened the file name) Anyone else have this issue?

You are running either Windows Vista or Windows 7.

Copy the updater file and paste it to the desktop. Don't create a shortcut on the desktop, actually copy the file and paste it there. Run that copy of the file instead.

Yeah, I had this same issue last night, Windows 7 as well. Had it with last weeks patch too, and support told me to re-install the game. Yes, it fixed it, but it was a 7 hour fix.

Texas Justice, your fix seems to be working for me as well. Now, when Senior Technical Support gets back with me (as I put in a new ticket last night), I can give them some more info.

TJs solution didn't work for me.. I'm running Vista 32 at home. Gonna try to reinstall.

Jeez.. not sure what was wrong but it took me a while just to uninstall the damn thing lol. Installing now, and made it past the Cityofheroes.exe.. so thats a good start.
