Tell me about Radiation Corrupters
How favorably does Corrupters' Radiation Blast damage compare to Blasters' Radiation Blast ultimately? I've tested a Radiation Corrupter up to level 4, and that far, its damage seems little better than Defenders' Radiation Blast, the only difference I can see being Scourge. But Corrupters are supposed to do High damage (my Energy Blast and Assault Rifle Corrupters certainly do) - does their Radiation Blast change any with levels?

Corruptor
Neutrino Bolt does 25 damage, then an additional 25 with scourge: for around 50 damage
Neutron Bomb does 37.54 damage, then an additional 37.54 with scourge: for 75.08
Cosmic Burst does 88.42 damage, then an additional 88.42 with sourge: for 176.84
Blaster:
Neutrino Bolt does 62.56 damage
Neutron Bomb does 56.31
Cosmic Burst does 132.63
Blaster's also get defiance which ups their damage as they are attacking. Depending on how often a blaster is triggering their attacks, they could be running a constant 10% / 15% damage boost. Figuring in 15% Defiance:
Blaster:
Neutrino Bolt does 62.56 damage + 15% = 71.944
Neutron Bomb does 56.31 + 15% = 64.75
Cosmic Burst does 132.63 + 15% = 147.43
A blaster is going to do this level of damage with pretty much every attack, reguardless of the enemies health. A corruptor can still do more damage, providing the enemy is below 50% health. So, in fights against Monsters, Archvillains / Heroes, and Elite Bosses, a Corruptor might be able to land more damage than a blaster.

There are also other differences beyond simple damage. Corruptors also get higher debuff values:
Corruptor
Neutrino Bolt debuffs defense by 10%
Neutron Bomb debuffs defense by 20%
Cosmic Burst debuffs defense by 30%
Blaster
Neutrino Bolt debuffs defense by 7%
Neutron Bomb debuffs defense by 14%
Cosmic Burst debuffs defense by 21%
So the attack power's debuff component is stronger on corruptors. Again, this is useful in protracted battles, and helps offset the controller-level buffs / debuffs of the corruptors secondary set.
Radiation Blast for Corrupters and Defenders has the first two attacks doing below average damage but recharging more quickly than most sets.
Most blast sets have a 4 second and 8 second attack as their Teir 1 and 2, Radiation Blast has a 1.5s and 4s recharge attack.
So Corrupter/Defender Rad Blast is more frequent attacks that do less damage. Neutrino Bolt can feel like fighting with a laser pointer at times
Radiation Blast for Blasters was tweaked to suit Blasters burst damage role, and has Neutrino Bolt recharging in 4 seconds, X-Ray Eyes in 8 second like most Blast sets do. The Blaster version do correspondingly higher damage even before the Balster damage scalar is applied.
So, yes, Radiation Blast will produce less damage per attack than other Corrupters, but roughly the same overall damage over time. Cosmic Burst is the same damage as Power Burst ie a standard 10s attack, so that will even it out a bit.
One way to take advantage of this peculiarity is to stick damage procs in Neutrino Bolt. The procs have a change to go off per attack, and so will trigger more frequently.
That actually sounds tempting. How do their Atomic Blasts compare? I mean, seriously, an "Atomic Blast" should disintegrate everything around you.
I'd personally be happy if they allowed the rest of the set to do a little less damage than other ranged sets in exchange for making Atomic Blast the most powerful 'nova' attack in the game.
Atomic Blast would do more raw damage on a Blaster. It's got a huge defense debuff though, which is significantly more powerful on a Corruptor.
As for the power itself, it's a fairly run of the mill nuke. It blows stuff up good. Doesn't do as much damage as Inferno, but that's because it's also got hold/debuff components instead of extra damage ticks.

They're one-shot temp powers you can earn through a minigame in an often deserted PvP zone, but they pack quite a kick.
