Tanker Tuesday Returns to Protector!

Hi all,

The Tanks are returning to Protector on the 25th! We'll meet in King's Row by IP Gate at 6pm PDT\9pm EDT and set teams. All Tanks are welcome regardless of level or Power Set. So, come on down and join the fun! If anyone has a TF they want to run please post it to this thread.

See ya' all in a few weeks! If you don't have a Tank now's the time to roll one! If you already have a Tank mark the 25th on your calendar and we'll see ya' there!

Sweeet- Yeti will be there and I need States

I still have the global channel too, I think.

This sounds cool, and gives me an excuse to finally venture blueside on a more regular basis. Suggestions for a tanker-noob on powersets?

Big Yeti, States TF sounds like fun. If we can get enough in range we'll run it. Any chance I can get you to volunteer for leading it? If you're up for it, I'll put the team together when we gather then hand you the star.

Sokyoku, a quick vist to the Tanker forums might be a good place to look and see what catches your eye. Also you can join the TankHQ and/or Tankers chat channel and see what folks think. Is there any style of play you're looking for in particular?

Certainly I would be up for it, would need a play by play as I have yet to complete the States TF let alone lead one but you know me ... always up to try. Also, if we don't have enough tanks in level range or we want to start with the lower level tf's to level up some toons I have no problem with that as well.

Big Yeti, np, if we have enough to run State's I'm sure someone will know the drill. If not, although a bit rusty (and if on the team) I can help out...I'll remember everything eventually.... And thank you for volunteering to lead a group. It makes organizing the event much easier.

Ugh!! Real life has reared its ugly head and I will be unable to attend this evening I will try to rearrange life so I am available next Tuesday.

I should be showing up about 6:30PM Pacific time, when I get home from work.
I will be bringing my lvl 35 shield/battle axe dwarven tank.

Well, I have several tanks available to me:

Hyperstrike: Inv/SS (50)
Tectonica: Stone/Fire (41)
Brownian Cessation: Ice/Ice (25)

As such, I can pretty much take a place on any team that needs it.

I'll show up with Hyperstrike and we can decide who needs what then.

TT ran pretty smoothly. Only one or two deaths the whole evening (while I was able to play). Running at +2x8 at L50 with a group composed mostly of 20-30-somethings (and one guy at L4 IIRC) the Protector Panzer Division came, saw, and tanked with a full team the entire time.

CoT, Arachnos, Council, and even Carnies simply couldn't stand up to the onslaught.

Unfortunately I had to leave about an hour in. But it was nonstop fun.

Three rules for coming to Tanker Tuesday:

2: Show Up
3: Follow the Tank.

After you left we also rolled over Neuron. Our low level Tank had reached level 13. And filled the team again. So all-in-all a great TT. Thanks for hosting us Protector, see ya' all the next time we stop by!

Oh, and managed to get talk of a Warshade Wednesday going (I guess we'll have to see if that takes root or not )

Next TT is on Champion! Same Tank time, same Tank place!
