Best Primary for Force Field
I suppose I should mention that this character would be primarily for Hamidon and Rikti mothership raids. I want a Controller that would be good at both, and bubblers are always in demand at mothership raids.

I've been having plenty of fun grouping up enemies while in PFF, then dropping it and applying seeds of confusion. It really makes good use out of enemies with AE attacks.

Really, the usefulness of a FF controller in a Hami raid would probably come down to their primary, in which case, I would recommend Plant. You won't be able to cycle your single target hold as fast as mind or fire, but you can toss Spirit Tree down near the main Hami taunter. If not Plant, then I'd suggest mind for its fast activating hold and solid single target attack chain.
I have an Illusion / Ff and it's the easiest toon to grab MasterOf badges on... I have posted a build below which gives great endurance, softcapped def and PA up with only 14sec downtime.
I quite like the build, but i'm sure others will comment.. open to feed back too.

Consciousness: that annoying time between naps.
Ive played an ice/FF troller for several years now and he's been my favorite toon EVER. Ive played him as a hybrid support guy but adding the medicine pool to the mix(which helps out soloing too).
Ice control gives me several ways to control multiple mobs and by adding medicine I can stay that much busier when control isnt as important as just keeping those crazy blasters/scrappers alive.
Like others mentioned before, the mez protection is a huge boost to the utility I get from arctic air(since Im always in melee anyways playing healer)
But yeah...overall /FF is a really great set for people who wanna get the most outta their primary. Also, ice control is so pretty..lol
