Your 5 Favorite Updates
5) AV --> EB when team size small
4) Second chance at Isolator badge
3) New difficulty system
2) Oroborus
1) Mission Archetect (*)
(*) Based off my initial excitement for it.
That blue thing running around saying "Cookies are sometimes food" is Praetorian Cookie Monster!
Shoot on sight, please.
5 is tough.
In no particular order:
> Supersidekicking. I can team with who I want, with what I want, and they can bring what they want, and still level up. I want to get to a Patron power level, but my buddies want to run the new story arcs, or play new masterminds at low levels? No problem!
>Power customization: This made me able to 'own' my characters even more, make them look just as I want them to. It also opened a lot more concepts, as I can make differentiated powers visually cohesive.
>Inspiration combining: so simple, but it's a lifesaver (literally at times) in common gameplay. It also makes unwanted inspiration far more useful.
>CoV: 5 new archetypes, most of them far more flexible in usage and capable of great solo and team performance.
>The icon store. I re-made my original character over 12 times finagling with his costume, as before the icon store the only way to change a character's appearance was to re-roll them.
Runners up:
>respecs-characters were no longer locked into build mis-steps, and could adjust better to power changes. (issue 2)
>The ability to sidekick/exemplar- though I like the new system, this did allow for more teaming than ever before.(issue 2)
>Global chat-the ability to converse with a player regardless of server/character (issue 3)
>Dominator changes- a niche/acquired taste archetype became viable 1-50. (Rather than being so late game/specific build-skewed.)
So true... but you do have your top five favorites out of the zillions of good updates, don't you?

I wasn't just being sychophantic - but honestly there's so many to choose from... my particular favourites are - in no significant order
Inventions, RWZ revamp, LGTF, Kahn TF, Barracuda SF, new cape mission, Rikti Invasion Raids, Statesman TF, Soldiers of Arachnos, Defiance 2.0...
choosing just 5 out of that's too tricky
Thelonious Monk
For those playing along at home, I did a headcount while servers were down last night instead of more distasteful things like leaving the house. Including people's runners up, here are the top 6 results, in a particular order (Numerical!):
#1 - Super Sidekicking
#2 - Inventions
#3 - Power Customisation
#4 - Rikti War Zone Revamp
#5 - New Faultline
#5 - Ouroboros
You may notice there were two number fives. That's because they each got mentioned 7 times. You have nobody to blame but yourselves!
Black Starbeam - The Reciprocators
Making money, not earning it.
Anyone who doesn't list SSK either doesn't team much or has gone to the Americans!

5. Croatoa. Still my favorite zone addition.
4. Boss -> Lieutenant feature. Comes in very handy for my soloing style.
3. Tailors and additional costume slots.
2. AV -> EB feature. This alone allowed me to get through the mission content in the 40s, and comes in very handy at other levels too.
1. Mission drop feature. If I run into a nasty block to my progress, I can usually (but not always) use this to complete the mission and move on.
Yeah I did sort of forget SSK and I agree it has drastically imrpoved the game so I'd add Issue 16 to my list as well. (Okay so that's six .. sue me). This not only made PUGS easier but also lets a 49 level join a team of level 9s and keep getting XP, INF and prestige (if in SG mode) like they were on a level 49 team. Suddenly players were perfectly willing to do Task forces that had slipped past them, trials and hey no one MY level is on at the moment.. "Sure I'll come down from PI to Steel and help you pound on Outcast, Tsoo, etc"
Now about the only time CAN'T find a team is when I am in solo mode and simply am not looking for one.
Were always the good guys. In D&D, were lawful good. In City of Heroes were the heroes. In Grand Theft Auto we pay the prostitutes promptly and never hit them with a bat. Leonard
Those women are prostitutes? You said they were raising money for stem cell research! Sheldon
System and game changing updates are my biggies. So the Striga and Croatoa zones were great for this, as was SSK and Power Customization. Inventions and Issue 9 was also huge, though. The game was much more layered and interesting to me with the ability to customize our powers and abilities so much.

4. Various ways to minimize travel time.
3. Power Customization.
2. Power Proliferation.
1. Super Sidekicking.
The forthcoming ability to switch sides is going to be a major Woo Hoo!
