ok to try to clear things up ..
1. yes i did speak to Big in PMs ..in fact he started it to stop Whisper having any chance of shooting Soapbox first ..
2. Whisper on the roof and by Soaps body is dressed as a Longbow ..he looks nothing like he did inside the Hall ..
3. the bit of the body he got was ruled by Big ..an arm .. the rest is still there ..
4. he used a personal teleport ..i made no mention of a mediport ..
5. the pace at which things happened was set by Big , Bunny and I followed .. Given the speed others moved and deployed inside the hall , that was packed full of people the pace was not that fast ...Soap and Bunny's Toon are only a few yards from the hall exit
i hope that clears up an confusion ..if not PM Big

As for the microwave burst the airship sensors might of picked it up and been able to identify what it was. Also the corpse still has residual energy which can be used for readings. As for the point of origin a few people present would be able to figure out the original attack vector giving them a rough idea of where the assassin was.
Also im thinking there is still action to be had inside the hall. You know Chimera, a Shivan, mad scientist assistants toting guns that spew acid, apparently dead heroes etc.

So Chimera's about half its health and the scientists seem to be withdrawing. What are the aparent and actual casualties? Brit got KO'd but appears to be uninjured, Vix (Julia?) shot Masha but she hasn't suffered any fatal wounds, are there any wounded or dead civilians or scientists? Is Soapbox the only casualty then? Just need to get some facts straight.

Unfortunately Chimera never managed to get her hands on any Humanity First activists so no dismembered corpses in the hall.
Hmm next time...bring more firepower.
Didn't expect Chimera to be swamped from off the bat...now I know how ingame Archvillains feel.
It would have been unlikely that Chimera would have even made a dent with all those heroes there even with Giant Killers help. Expect 3 or 4...but it seemed like 10 or so heroes turned up.
Scientists aren't stupid...they can see the odds stacked against them so they're making their withdrawl with Chimera still in one piece.

I know that's not the intent of those people. They just wanna get on with the story. But it still makes me feel useless and unwanted. Every time I try and contribute something to the plot, someone else who can post faster than me grabs it up and leaves me sitting there without even bothering to talk to me. The best I can expect is a passing mention in which my character is regarded like he's completely inconsequential.
So yeah, that's the crux of it. This deal with misreading the detention field and then being unable to change it since the story's already moved on to a point where it's too late was just a result of my inability to keep up with the quick posting - and since I don't see myself having the time to post faster anywhere in the near future, I'd rather just stick to the slower-paced threads than keep getting frustrated by this one.
