Waiting before posting again to let others catch up/post/act etc.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

I just resent being painted as the bad guy. Im sorry, im a fast poster. I enjoy writing, I enjoy posting... Im happy to wait for people, but I cant do that if I dont know people need some more time to get their posts in.

Okay then, first off please know that wasn't my intent. I wasn't being serious. That's why I put the shifty eyes there. And it wasn't any particular person, or even people - it's the whole writer pacing style, which I've noticed seems to be one of the big differences that developed when the American and EU boards were still separate.
What I mean by that is that we on this side of the pond, we're very shifty and malicious when it comes to plotting, and as a result things can change at any given time and at a moment's notice. So we learned to always pay close attention to what the people in the same vicinity as our characters are doing because chances are they'd have a reaction to the happenings, even if it seems very minor at the time. Over time, that developed into the common sense that you should never assume that a present character does nothing when there's stuff happening around them.
Now, please don't take common sense to mean something insulting. It's just to convey that it's an understanding that the American RP community collectively developed. Maybe it's because American RP was more board-based than the EU one, which seems to be more in-game-based. I'm not sure. Either way, it's a difference that's not technically anyone's 'fault'. It's just there.

Alright, in that case, my bad. Last night was one of those nights where someone had cut my fuse off a bit shorter than normal. And I've never been any good at reading into sublter meanings. So..if you want to get me a message, bring a sledgehammer

Gotcha, heh. In that case, I'd much appreciate if you could do me a favor and refrain from turning my characters into statues - within a reasonable time frame, of course. And yeah I know it's too late for that in this thread. I mean for future stuff and such.

/em pulls out pointy stick and prods!
There is still unresolved stuff in this story. A couple of you have even received pms concerning these details. Any chance this can get cleared up?
Sam: "My mind is a swirling miasma of scintillating thoughts and turgid ideas."
Max: "Me too."
Stuff
Ah, sorry to hear that. I felt the pace was managable. Maybe its got something to do with the time difference than anything else?
